Quietest cranking 2-cycle I ever heard. I think I'd let it warm up more before I started gouging on it though.

And those Toyota pickups are idling before ya even turned the key. Glad you don't use ether. It bends the rods and wrist pins and the pistons travel shorter then they should. Less compression and the motor has become an ether addict.

Is this rig a 6 wheeler or 10 wheeler?
@trucking6049 жыл бұрын
trucking604 Never mind, I saw the other video, a 6 wheeler. A 6V92 is a lot of motor for a 6 wheeler. Must really move out! They used the 6V92 in a lot of coach buses. I used to drive mostly sand trailers (60 ton gross), and other construction vehicles. The 3406 Caterpillar was the most popular engine for those sand trailers. We did have a few 6 wheel GMC Top Kicks, which is similar to your GMC in this video, most of the ones we had were powered by the medium duty 3208 Caterpillar. We had one with a big block 454 gas job. When it was empty it was fine, put just a couple of tons on it, it would die. Gas engines just can't pull any kind of weight. Your GMC sounds right on!
