It will not sound bad considering that you would have other acoustic elements like curtains, loose carpets, sofa, etc. And the calibration software will help in making it sound better.

Yes. It’s possible, except for the screen size which will get reduced to 106” diagonal. And another thing we need to take care of is the floorstanding speakers shouldn’t overlap on the screen.

Hi Tanmay, I am from bangalore and looking to build similar home cinema. Most of the home cinema vendors are saying JBL stage series is not good, but would like your opinion on it compared to Dali Specter 6, Yamaha NS F71 or other similar price speakers? Also, I am getting mixed reviews on Epson 7100 vs Benq 860i, can u suggest which one is better , my usage is for movie, OTT and casual Gaming.

Epson 7100 is better choice for projector. And with regards to speakers, JBL Stage is not bad but you can explore Polk MXT, Fyne Audio and Elac speakers too

for someone doing tech reviews it is very bad(acoustically) cinema room design. very bad speaker positioning, very old outdated acoustic design and lot of other problems. i'm sure the frequency response at mlp will look very bad.

My 2 cents Cinema rooms many times do not afford the ideal placement and customers put more emphasis on aesthetics over anything else I myself have rear ported Klipsch that can only be placed against the wall due to space issues and i use port plugs for the back ports It is easy to criticize without having all data. Enjoy the positives and keep the tone of the comments neutral. After all he is putting himself out there and doing things which is infinitely more difficult than sitting at the keyboard
