It's cool that this indoor range lets you shoot scattershot. The one near me only lets you shoot slugs. Even the "low velocity" slugs pack a decent punch. In an effort to stock up during the ammo shortages, I must've missed some details in the product description as I accidently bought some high velocity slugs. These babies hit 1600 fps and all that in a 2 3/4 inch shell. As of right now, I only have pump action boomsticks, a Remington 870 Tactical and a Mossberg 590A1 but someday I'd like to get a semi-auto and with my budget for such being sub $1000, I think the Mossberg 930 is a good option.

I’m trying to decide on a Mossberg or Beretta 1301. Looks like the Mossberg can shoot near as damn it fast as the Beretta.

Save your money, get the Mossy 930, and put a messa tactical pistol grip on it. I have one it is the bomb. It cycles everything.

Nice video! Hey, did this 930 require a “break-in” shooting heavy loads in order for it to run so reliably, or did it run like this right out of the box?

I never thought about it (breaking in) and blasted all kinds of buck shot before shooting 00BUCK at the indoor range when they told me not to shoot the other stuff because it messes up their target mounts.....never had any problems with this 930SPX and a cheaper option than the other expensive brand names out there!! Before getting our 930, I built a Mossberg 88 purchased from WalMart, bought the 18" barrel directly from Mossberg for near cost when I told the lady I was building my own tactical shotgun with the 88! Then got the ATI Pistol Grip collapsible, fold down stock which ended up costing more than the barrel!! All said and done under $400 and have an extra 28" hunting barrel it originally came with!!
