How you doing I do spot market thats how it looks this week 09/12 to 09/19 ->>> I have my own authority and reefer I do 4000 mi 6 days Bringing home $5800 I used to bring home $8500 Now I’m struggling with expensive repairs and payments I can’t make it About to give up!!! 42k Reefer weight . McAllenTx to Bronx NY 33k and back to Houston Round trip ~ 4000mi About $8500 total $2614 fuel $200 Tool (Washington Bridge) 6 days on the road Base is Houston

That’s rough man. If I learned anything out here it’s that “when it rains, it pours” or “it’s always something and it always will be”. I was running for a guy for 30% and even though I was willing to give up 5% he still shut down operations. Hasn’t been an easy transition to a company job since I don’t get to dispatch myself but you reminded me it can always be worse. Hang in there man. The industry is shaking out the weak. Seems like a couple million guys got their authority in 2020-2021. Let’s see if they can keep it.

Make phone calls/sales calls. Teams are really marketable. Fright that requires teams typically pays well.

I usually am home every weekend, but I parked my truck because of regen issue I’m having and leased a truck to run a new dedicated route. I did $10,200 in 6 days. Unfortunately, my expenses are way up, and I’ll see very little of this gross. I’ve also been out for 3 weeks next Friday.

My wife & I run 2,200 miles, hit 7 dock doors in 2 1/2 days for $7,600 and 1/2 a day in the office doing invoices & paperwork. That all a care to do. Not at all interested in working 6 days.
