That village at Lake Hodges is Del Dios. We've eaten many tostadas and drank many marguerites at Hernandez Hide-A-Way. Wish you had pointed out the statue of, "Hoggie", the Lake Hodges Monster, kissing cousin of the Loch Ness Monster. He was standing just a few feet from the stop sign at the closest thing to an intersection in town where you briefly came to a stop. Your camera caught a brief glimpse of him. He stands 10-12 ft. high. Next time through there you might want to stop, park, stretch your legs and film Hoggie. He is a very impressive work of art. Thanks for your video, great to see our neighborhood from a biker's point of view.

Dam. I wish I new about Hoggie. Been there a bunch of times and never really noticed. I am always looking out at the beautiful views of lake Hodges. What a great location. Anyhow I will be sure to capture Hoggie next time I ride through there. Thanks for your insights! Stay safe.

I ride a 2013 f6b so I'm sure it is similar to your seat. I'm from NJ and have done plenty of riding in the southwest heat going to Vegas and into Mexico down to Mazatlan and Acapulco. Get yourself some Beadrider beads and a Harley Davidson Circulator Large Seat Pad. Then change up during the day when you need to. Love your vids and I think the camera was perfect. I like to see the dashboard in the view because it gives me the feeling of being on the bike.

Excellent! I will do exactly as you suggest. Makes sense something like those items would make a difference over trying another seat. Thanks for the feedback!

Is there a quick release trunk you can purchase for long trips on those goldwings
@SDWalta2 жыл бұрын
I know you can get the rear seat and trunk off a tour model. Not sure how easy it is. I bet there’s a KZbin video about it. I haven’t heard of any other trunk device. But knowing how popular the Gold Wing is you might find something online. Stay safe 😀

Do you always look through the screen ? Never lower it to look over it and have some wind in your (face) helmet ? When riding slow it is fun to let the screen down, no ?
@SDWalta2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Good point. It was windy ish earlier in the ride and was causing loud wind noise. I was worried about the audio quality, so I raised the windshield. But, should have lowered it later. It does make such a difference to feel the wind, and provide a better experience for the viewers to keep it low. Thanks for the feedback! I will make sure I keep the windshield low as much as possible. Stay safe!

Which windshield is this? Nice

It’s awesome. Compared to the stock one. I haven’t tried any others though. So there’s that. It’s the 20 inch/ wide/ clear tint from F4 customs. And I don’t get any benefits whatsoever for any reviews of anything. It’s just me sharing what I like. Happy new year !! Stay safe !
