Man keep them videos comming! I have a 6.9 idi got a ticking/tapping noise driving me nuts. Other than that runs really good.

@@worthshop so today I'm going to start it. Open each injector line to rule out a bad injector. Hope it's not anything serious. It's not a loud knock it's a tap. Sounds like up top drivers side? Any ideas.

@Jack Daicole Might be a loose rocker or valve making noise too. Really kinda difficult to diagnose a noise without being there to hear it.

@@worthshop that's my next thing to look at. I'm saving up to do complete overhaul and cam injectors ip pump. They even have roller tip rockers(special order).

@@worthshop it has alot of miles the Guages don't work no telling now how many miles. Has blow by commin from dipstick and oil cap when running. I know she has alot of miles on her. Just trying to keep her running till I have all the parts. I do want to go turbo just I do alot of driving hualing a trailer of about 10,000lbs. I live in the middle of nowhere it takes 30min to hr to get to a local anywhere. Top speed is 55mph I rarely go faster than 45 small town area. Probably why it lasted so long? Lol
