Swap the motor and part out the interior. That was mint even though it’s cloth I’m envious of how clean it was.

You found a truck with good , low mileage engine and excellent interior but roached bed. Give this truck a new bed or flatbed. Why take a good motor out of a good truck? For the truck that needs a 7.3 engine, aren’t those engines available out of trucks that have been totaled by collisions? Whatever you decide to do, you guys are lucky 🍀 to find this beauty. Big win!

May I ask a question? On a 2006 6.0. The dash “Wrench Light” came on. Not service engine soon light. I changed oil and fuel filters and wrench light never has came back on. Oil was 8000 miles over change date. Person kept adding oil instead of changing. Runs great now. Any ideas on “wrench light”? Subscribed 💪

Motor swap then tear down the motor that was pulled to see what people did. May get surprised that someone pour water in the motor to blow it up but she did blow.💁🏼♂️

I have a 04 6.0 the Lpop went out due to one possibly more rollers went through the motor. Do you think I should rebuild it or buy a new motor? I’m on a budget but I don’t want to cheap out on the right parts
@AutomedicGarage3 ай бұрын
@@GageGonzalez954 cheaper to just go through it. More than likely won’t need pistons, rings or boring. Just change the main and rod bearings. Reseal the whole motor with KDD stage 1 oringed heads, 6.4 pushrods, new lifters and arp studs along with the new LPOP.

It would be a shame to take the motor out of that nice of a truck. Either find another bed or put a flatbed on it and flip it, then use the profits to but a remaned 7.3 with warranty.
