All legends in this match. My favorite at the time was Tiger Mask Satoru Sayama. When I would see a young Bret Hart and Dynamite Kid wrestle at MSG I knew they were good, but didn't know they would become the legends they have become.

82年の藤波は、この相手のようにミドルヘビークラスだと、切れが最高。相手の技も受けて相手のカッコよい見せ場も出して、藤波自身はもちろん全てカッコよい。特に外人を引き立てる技術が最高。この状態が継続しても良かった。日本人対決と、自身の増量は止めた方がよかったかもしれない。

I thought Valentine was a heel, and Dynamite and Bret were faces in the early 80's. What are they doing on the same team?

Dynamite was both. To the Japanese they were just foreigners doing a tour. It wasn't any sort of faction. Nobody in the States knew what wrestlers were doing in Japan unless they somehow managed to get a hold of a VHS/Beta tape of a NJPW or AJPW show. Also Stateside wrestling magazines may mention something if it was noteworthy. Back in 1982 there were no write ups about Stampede in any of the major wrestling magazines like Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Inside Wrestling, The Wrestler or any of the offshoots.
