No joke, three of my older siblings moved away to a town house and when I came to visit felt a little claustrophobic at the way it felt like one room was crammed into multiple rooms but I was also amazed at the economical layout of all the rooms and how the all fit in. I think the interior designs should match the style of the house outside and this definitely does not. It looks cold and you feel kind of lonely upon looking at the interior. Any personality feels wiped out by the white walls and floors. If you can afford to buy the house you should also budget for an entirely new indoor redo.

I agree that Asian design is more classically pure and sparse, but every Asian home I’ve built, lived in, and visited had exquisite art beautifully presented, Asian chests (Tansu and others) nestled in the seating areas, and ancient accent pieces along the interior walls and hallways between rooms. These mix well with English and French furnishings if desired. This house has none of this classic elegance. Sorry but it’s only my opinion.

The way the owner puts the grand piano in a private room with connection to living room is really smart. When practice, they can close the door to not disturb surroundings and when performing, they can open the connecting doors to let everyone listen. It also proves that they know how to play, enjoy the grand piano and appreciate its value, not just put it as a decoration in a small corner against the wall or under the stairs as I see in some houses.
