7 Alarm Fire from Lightening Strike at 665 New York Avenue in Crown Heights

A fire in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY went up to a 7 alarm'er at 556 New York Avenue. 24 Fire Fighters were injured and 1 civilian. The fire was apparently caused by a lightening strike which hit the roof of the building and setting it ablaze. The fire persisted in the cock-loft and took rescue workers hours to put it out.

My family and I lived in that building for 18 years and I was home, as well as my brother, when lightening hit the building. All just a memory now and I miss my home.
