Exactly. He says he didn't include CR7-Obertan or CR7-Mariana for that very reason, but includes that one. Benzema-Joselu. He also included Suarez-Balotelli, however Balotelli was never a direct replacement. Liverpool only signed him because they missed out on all of their top targets, but let's not mention that, because it isn't entertaining enough. He seems to have an agenda against Liverpool.

I was a semi regular attendee at Ewood Park as a child/teenager, but after watching them get relegated in a dreadful 0-0 game against Wigan, I think I've been to like 5 games since and that's because the Venky's have ruined the life and soul of the club! I remember when Rovers were fighting for europe, now they're fighting to survive in the championship after being relegated to league one. Even if they sell the club, I don't see a way out of this mess anytime soon

Both similar size north west clubs to Blackburn and both hit admin not long after falling from many decent years in the Premier League. Portsmouth, Derby, Charlton and many more Premier League regulars from the early 2000's have suffered greatly since dropping out

The Walker Trust was fairly disinterested in owning/investing in Rovers so the sale wasn't a surprise.. the downgrade is unreal though. The decisions they made before our first relegation were mind boggling and seemed like they were trying to get us relegated.

Video This is currently, by far, the best season in club history, one which could result in their first ever qualification for Europe in over 70 years of existence. This Spanish clubs could break an unwanted records this season of becoming the first clubs in Top 5 European Leagues to be relegated without grabbing a single win. To be fair to Balotelli, it's hard to score when you are not played to your strengths or barely play any type of significant minutes. If you look at his numbers at Nice and Marseille after leaving Anfield, it shows that once he is played and played in a role that matches his style of play he can excel, you can even look at his time at Man City in the Prem which shows once he is played by a competent manager he will score goals. Also they finished 8th the season after Balotelli left which is 2 places lower than when he was there and didn't get into the top 3 again for another 3 seasons.
