I was talking to my coworkers yesterday and my husband a few minutes ago about working so hard everyday and not living by not spending quality time with your spouse, family and friends, and I am going to stop it because when we wanting to spend time it might be too late. 'Messages to Young People' -- the one book I regret never reading when I was your age. I think my life would have gone on a different tangent. I'm so sorry my church never pushed us as young people to read it. The often negative and ambivalent propaganda/ controversy around EG White's credibility among church members also didn't help. I am now trying to get my daughter to read Messages to Young people. I was in late 20s or early 30s when I first opened it and I wish I had not been so late. Unfortunately, I still don't see Youth Ministries in our Church pushing reading plans, book clubs and conversations based on this book.

I left Ja at 22yrs old and and although I got married in my 30's, I was not mature as you beautiful Couple. I love how smart you both are. I love reading books. I have read some of the books mentioned eg The 5 love languages while I have had some of them but never got to read eg The act of marriage. I am intrigued by the first book you listed and I hope you read it before this year runs out. I am most inspired by the way one of you reads a book and explains the key things to the other. I hope to adopt this in my home because I am the one who loves books, my husband not so much. If we discuss them as you guys do, we would be on the same page with the principles learnt from the books. Thanks for sharing.

Very, very informative video.. I read the books you mentioned from Ellen G. White and I tell you, they had allow me to view life in a different prospective. I am happy that I read them when I was young (in my teens I mean) Thank God for my Pathfinder life, where I read them the most. I just love to sit and watch you both in these videos, its is such a relaxing moment for me on Tuesday and Friday nights. Keep on doing what you do, I pray for you both all the time. I am big on love languages and learning the love language of those around me.....As well as personality types....really huge topics....it help me to relate more to people. Really helpful especially being physically challenged... If only I paid more attension in high school.....but thank God for Psychology and college life lol

What Every Man wants in a Woman/What Every Woman wants in a Man by John Hagen is also good. If you can't access these books I have soft copies if you so desire.

Love the recommendations guys..some I've read already..I think I like Boundaries, will love to get that one. Only today I was telling a friend some drastic measures I'm about to make that will affect others but it's to put me first and learn to say NO 😀 so this book is exactly what I need. Dare to Ask for More, I got my copy from the author herself when she was here in Barbados..yes Melody sign the book and gave, yes gave it to me..no cost. Been married for sometime but I can still take a peek at The Act of Marriage, I'm sure I'll learn something new. Messages to Young People is definitely a must..the Youth's bible if I must say.
