Would you consider putting up the name of the book on the screen the whole time you’re talking about it? You don’t describe what it’s about until after the cover leaves the screen, so if I think it sounds interesting, I have to “rewind” (sorry I’m old) the video to find out what the title was. 😅 Whether you do or not, thank you for your video! I was desperately looking for queer horror recs and I couldnt find any interesting ones. This came out just in time! 😊

You mentioned it in the video and I don't know if you've already made one, but could you make a video recommending queer Frankenstein retellings? And thank you for the recs! I'm very excited to read The Woods All Black, that combination of words is super interesting to me too and I looove queer historical books

Some of these weren't on my radar AT ALL including Your Shadow Half Remains! That's so cool to see first hand the impact a book recommendation has on people picking up books, especially queer horror. So happy to have found your channel 💚

I’m currently reading Night of the Living Queers - a horror short story anthology which I’m really enjoying so far. I also have Frankissstein (another Frankenstein retelling) on my owned TBR to hopefully read soon.

I GOTTA read An Education in Malice soon, it sounds right up my alley! I went to a local horror bookstore with a friend last week, and they picked up The Z Word as a “blind date with a book” but. I’m a little jealous, but I’ll probably buy my own copy soon enough. 😆 I don’t know if I’ll actually get to them this month, but I currently have Manhunt by Gretchen Felker-Martin (trans dystopian horror) and Camp Damascus lined up to read soon. Awesome recommendations!
