lol, so I am an artist. I create my own stuff. I took all of it down to make it as minimalist as possible. Was this a bad idea? But I paint what I like...might be a forest scene (think misty forest), an ocean view, a portrait, a beach scene with a mysterious element, or even a picture of baby, something funny. What types of art are best for staging? Would love more info on this.

Do not over look thrift shops for art work, linens, even artificial plants…nothing tacky or worn…but sometimes you can find surprising bargains

So, putting more holes in the wall, when you’re hanging pictures with the new buyers will have to spackle and repaint

Great question! I recommend using existing nails or command strip products.

@@chrisgranorealtor yes I use them in the house and then when I went to pull them off, it took the paint and the drywall the piece that you pull on snapped off and I couldn’t get it off the wall

Thanks for watching and commenting Pamela! For purposes of selling, the average buyer doesn't care whether it's fake or real. But it sounds like you've got a green thumb and I agree, real plants are an A+!

I had both fake and real plants in our staging. In the photos and video, you could not tell the difference.
