I liked the modern tree - the colors - best of all. A very sophisticated look. That's a very clever idea of using the small tiles and just hot-gluing on an ornament hook to make unique ornaments! I would never have thought of that. Now I realize that a hook can be added to just about anything, LOL. Monica, you may have created a Christmas tree decorating monster here, oh my.

Loved the rustic tree, but personally, my favorite is a tree with ornaments that are meaningful to the person/family. Many of my ornaments are 80+ years old. I also add a new one every year, that has a special significance.

@@mannylugz5872 yes, they were ornaments that belonged to my grandma, given to my mom. Wish I could remember name of manufacturer. I still have the original box, too. You don't see craftsmanship like that anymore.

I’m having a full house this Christmas, I’m super excited to host my youngest daughter and her family including three children. Hence I’m putting three trees up this year, a large real tree in the sitting room, a five foot, skinny artificial tree in the dining room and a smaller tree in the hall. If I could find space for a fourth tree, I would. Loving some of these ideas, thanks for some great inspiration.

I liked each one. The color blocked kind of threw me but you could totally do different colors. If you can choose different colors. I spent weeks looking at gray paint chips trying to pick one for my bedroom (fyi, totally painted it with a mistint gray). Anyway, the slice ornament idea is something I've seen before and think is super cute. Tip: Check outside in the GC after the cut trees have arrived. My store (that I am a outside cashier at) usually keeps a bin of limbs and pieces of tree trunk from when we clean up a bought tree. Some ask for the limbs to make swags for their mantles (caution: it can be a fire hazard) or wreaths which I enjoy making too. I always ask my customers if they want the slice from their tree to make an ornament. Just watch the sap it gets really sticky and clear coat your decorated slice. My former specialist said his son had a blast decorating the slices and loves going through them each year when decorating the tree. Wow. Commentzilla. Love Monica. typically love the content Lowes provides. Note to the editor (sorry for unsolicited commentary): I had my volume turned down while watching and when Monica spoke I could hear her fine, but during b-roll moments when she wasn't speaking I thought it was completely silent until midway through as I turned up my volume and heard very light music. That could be turned up a bit during those moments.

Real trees can cost $50 to $100 dollars where I live. That is Christmas dinner and some baking supplies. I bought a good artificial tree on sale about 8 years ago for $80 and it still is going strong. 🎄😀
