I save my lemon and orange peels and cycle them in the garbage disposal. Smells heavenly..and saves 💰💰 I also take lemon and orange peels, a stick of cinmamon, a few cloves and put in a pot and simmer on low. Smells beautiful

Good ideas; but you can actually squeeze a lemon in a bowl! Microwave for about 2-3 minutes, uncovered! Wipe out afterwards and it will be clean and smell good! 🌞

Double bag the garbage can in the kitchen. If the first bag leaks the second bag will catch it. If not then you just take the first bag out.

I'd never use essential oils near my microwave, fridge or freezer. I tend to keep a spray of diluted bleach which can be used on anything.

Essential oils are less toxic and dangerous than bleach, bleach can't be used in hospitals because it's so toxic and damages the membranes in cells causing them to die, it's why it makes your eyes and throat burn, you can also literally damage your brain if you inhale too much, essential oils and alcohol kill the same amount of bacteria and viruses without harming you, also bleach should never touch anything you plan to eat on or with without rinsing, and you should never heat it, like you would in a microwave

@@emilymulcahy Thanks for the info. The bleach solution I use is very diluted and my microwave never really needs a good clean because I wipe it over regularly, usually just with soapy water. I know neat bleach is very dangerous. I was thinking more about the smell of the essential oils.

I have a fruit fly problem,they are very tiny. My kitchen is. Immaculate,windows and doors shut, no trash anywhere. No food anywhere. Ive tried the apple cider vinegar, it does work but they come back. Any suggestions ?

Let your plants get as dry as possible before watering. Or throw your plants out and get new ones. Also, can use a fly sticky strip near plant.

Vanilla is very expensive now. For pure vanilla extract at Costco is $17-20 a bottle. A couple years ago it was over $25.00, don’t want to use that all the time.
