Mr Fowler, my 7 year old and myself watch everything you produce. Frome alone to now we have watched everything. We even bought a few ocularis and scout lt's. My boy can blow the eye out from a crow at 30 yards. All because of your channel. Simple shot has been awesome in inventory and even better with postage. The reason we like your channel is because your a real person with real ideals. We have been fishing, kayaking, surviving and hunting with you vicariously. Now we do it ourselves. With humble love from Australia from a father and his son, we thank you and wish you all the best. From Australia, dad Jason and son William.👍🇦🇺

The music you chose just makes your soul happy, like it makes you want to get out and do everything you’re doing, or it just gives you hope and faith that the world is beautiful even if there are many areas or many things that may make you feel hopeless for this earth but then there’s videos like yours and the hope and faith that this world is just a beautiful wonderful place.

We live in South Africa. In a rural, coastal area. Living off the land like this is very possible for us here. We can dive for crayfish, hunt the rocks for mussels, go fishing, hunt wild animals and cooking things over open fires is something even some of the rich people do, for social events 😊 I learnt how to build a fire when I was barely out of diapers. These videos of yours are like food for my soul. Thank you ❤

Hint: To get the sand out of live clams: Rinse them off, then put them in a bucket of water that has cornstarch dissolved in it (5gal water 1/2c starch) for about an hour. The clams will spit the sand out, and suck up the starch.

Even leaving them in salt water for 4hrs will spit most of the sand but 1-2 days in a cold-ish area (not in direct sun light) then remove water and by then they would have spat all the sand we get the same kind of clams in new zealand and we do this to all our sand clams works every time

FYI, Chris Mccandless didn't actually die because he misread his book on edible plants and ate the wrong wild potato seeds. There was evidence that came out later through lab analysis that there must have been a fungus or something growing on the seeds themselves that caused him to get sick. Krakauer talks about this in the later editions of Into the wild.

Awesome guys, and I really appreciate the reflection at the end. America has had it too easy for too long, and today's generation doesn't understand the value of hard work and reward. Never before in the history of the world can one walk into a store and purchase food from every corner of the planet. Or food in such quantities. Thanks for putting things into perspective. Just gonna toss this hat into the ring, consider Alaska as a potential challenge location :)

Love your videos man. Actually heard about you first on Chris Thorns page, long before I ever watched alone. You're a true inspiration!

Chris is good with that turkey call. Zach, you will get better, just practice! You're doing well!

I like the plastic roof. In Florida the loam will spread fire so ground fires are no recommend but what you can do if you are camping near your car is bring a big rake or two and rake the whole area to keep bugs away and fire contained.

Dude, please come to Florida! Its perfect survival weather in the fall/winter and we have tons of great fishing! I love Bushcrafting around these parts, so feel free to hit me up if you make your way anywhere near Tallahassee 👍

Another tip for clamming....don’t forget to move the sand back and cover the holes. Helps to create a more sustainable food cycle for their buddies to keep using and others to keeping clamming after you. Great vid thanks guys!

Great videos. Love the praying and thanking the Lord. On a funny note, my cat loves turkey. He's asleep in the other room, but comes in when he hears the turkey call lesson.
