One thing I thought of making, but have never seen anyone else make, is to split a small piece of wood, make some pitch from pine, birch or anything else that makes pitch, then get some sand from the creek, dry it out in a pan, then coat the split wood with pitch, and pat the sand onto the top layer of the pitch, so now you have a sanding block to make cutting boards, seat bottoms, or anything else that could use sanding smooth. 😎👍

I got 2 lil ones now #singlemama but it’s so worth it teaching them how to survive outside and thrive. I’m teaching them the best I can but I’m learning still. Growing up fishing and hunting you don’t forget it’s like riding a bike plus being a veteran helps me too lol but bushcrafting is an art for sure. Keep up the amazing work guys! Yall keep me going!
