I really like that temp wood texture on the garage door. Hopefully we can paint the doors as i'd prefer that to what I assume will be a beat up looking metal patchwork texture. A really cool addition though and |I can't wait to get back to building again with A18!

Its so important that developers are playing their own games. I know a lot of game developers that are completely disconected with their community (for example war thunder) and ad things to the game that no one needs and no one wants while not fixing major bugs and problems. My friends and I have been attacking each other's bases in a scorched earth scenario so that once 18 comes out we will have nothing to go back to. Also, I think we shouldn't be able to pick up vehicles except the bicycle once we place em in the world, same as building blocks, it would give a purpose to making garages and would make it a bit more tactical to hide your vehicles so other people don't steal or destroy them.

Gotta say, I'm excited about 7 Days to Die again. I've been waning these past several weeks, not having as much fun as I'd like doing streams/vids with my wife. Looking at the new icons, how your build is shaping up, new weapons and menus.. I cannot wait to dive into it and I have a feeling I will have a renewed wonder for the game and have another 2k+ hours in. Looking really good! Are there any changes to bleeding in A18? Seems a bit off when someone is level 100+, fully modded, steel armor and still bleed after about every little zombie hit. Not sure how some rotten fingernails would get through steel armor....just sayin'. Would be nice if that was fixed.

We did get a small bit of news earlier this year but it's not exactly promising, all they told us is that since telltale went under the rights to console were auctioned off and whoever bought them has yet to say who they are or what they plan to do with them..

I've been wanting to play 7DTD so bad since A17 came out but I just can't play more than a few minutes without crashing, Project Zomboid has been crashing pretty bad for roughly the same amount of time too. I have a hunch it has something to do with windows 10 but I'm not sure. Would be nice if I knew half as much about fixing computers as I do cars.

Thanks for the video update Joel love the game been with you guys back in 2014. I know you get this constantly and I know the stock response of when its ready or its just not even talked about, but have you thought of giving at least a broad estimate of the new alpha release? such as quarter 4 2019 quarter 1 2020 so at least you're giving yourself a + - 4 month gap and if it needs to be pushed back then it needs to be pushed back. I only ask this because it lets us know ahead of time for our servers and what to tell our players.

If an armor rating of 75 means 75% of incoming damage is deleted and you have iron chin meaning reduce hit point loss by 25%, for a second, that sounds like invincibility. Does that mean that after the 75% reduction, then 25% of the remaining damage is removed? That of course means that iron chin removes more actual damage points if you have no armor than with heavy armor. Or does it mean something else?

You have to actively defend your base, passive defense wont help you (unless you are using electric traps)

@@SwatPooky95 That sounds great, because it's fun to be active in the defence of your base. But I was active in the defence of my base the last patch that I played and it didn't matter. They got through all the walls because they hit the same blocks and they came down almost immediately. You couldn't kill them quickly enough before your defenses became useless. In conjunction with the pacing of XP gain and what the game throws at you, after one blood moon I'm at a relatively similar tech level but the zombie get much much harder, there was a disparity, it felt like bases were essentially glass houses. I saw on the forums people saying just build a death-alley now, bases don't work. Can you shed some light on that? I loved this game and really hope I can get back into it with my friends but some of the changes killed it for us.
