Went brawler build myself with the tactical assault rifle. But of course I invested in other perks like perception for looting and salvaging and miner69er. Mainly fortitude and strength. Kinda hard to not invest in one perks away from the ultimate build which still takes a long time

Yeah I usually do the same thing. Sprinkle in a few different perks here and there. That is the great thing about 7 Days: it is so customizable!

I love the fort build! Brawling is one of my fave two melee styles. I usually start with brawler while waiting to find my first stun baton. the sexy trex and flurry of blows perks apply to both so it helps with both.

I don't think Flurry of Blows works with the knuckles. I tested it and wasn't getting the benefits while having the perk. Were you getting the stamina regin with your build?

@@SavensWorld Hmm, i know it works with the stun baton, but i just assumed it was with the brawling. I'll have to go see now.

@@magejoshplays Yeah it definitely works with the SB. It wasn't working for me with the knuckles though.

@@SavensWorld You are correct, apparently it doesn't have the one hand tag since both hands are covered in gloves. Even though you can only punch with one or the other. Lame. LOL, thanks for the heads up though.

Plus 300% damage increase is actually quadrupling your damage. +100% = double damage; +200% = triple damage; +300% = quadruple damage.

one thing i can recommend, iron gut cause stacking that consumable buff with alcohol melee buffs is quite good

@@SavensWorld i did it on a horde night, got bored of sitting in the horde base waiting for zombies to climb. stacked booze, megacrush, and fortbites. ran out punching zombies in the grunkle. don't ask what a grunkle is cause i dont know either

Would flurry of blows be worth it with the brawling as well? Love your vids by the way!

I tested Flurry of Blows with the Steel Knuckles, and unfortunately, it does not work. Kind of makes sense. FoB is for one-handed melee weapons, and technically you are using 2 hands with the knuckles.

love the vid until the m60 vs tactical assault rifle yes m60 is slower but add the fact that despite its slower reload speed realize this... add a drum mag to it and you have 2x more ammo so it is roughly the same when it comes to damage (idk 4 sure ill test as well to make sure i aint talking out my rear) love your videos tho

Very true for the later stages of the game. In the early game, you may not have enough Dukes stockpiled to afford every book. In that case, you have to prioritize.

@@SavensWorld ok. Just so you know you can't find how to do it on yt. Thats why i ask. To find the item XML file go to where 7dtd is installd then go to data-go to config. File name: Item. Make a back up of the file before you change something first.
