Slap that on a rectangle floor of upside down spikes and they'll die even faster! Thanks to you and your friend for this killing platform. Started a new save recently and I'm on day 4, plenty of time to make one and try it out! Heck building 2 of those side by side with a small catwalk would be great if the first one gets too damaged by ferals/cops.

Just tried this out on creative mode against the day 49 horde at level 200. It works like a charm for both early hordes and ultra late game ones. For the day 49 horde i upgraded everything to stainless steel but that was pretty redundant in itself. All you really need is reinforced concrete and from what i can see nothing is going to be able to touch you. The only thing that sustained the most damage was the second pole on the short pillar. Spiders kept attack it and it sustained about 3500 damage but that was it. If it was reinforced concrete that would have been only 1/3 of the blocks health state before it fully breaks and it can easily be repaired during the horde. Honestly this is just such a great design. It even allowed me the ability to loot the horde as i killed them since you sit low enough to search corpses. Also if you have explosives like pipe bombs and explosive bolts you can quickly jump on top of the larger pole, throw/fire the explosive into the cluster and then jump back down.

Hey 2HandGaming Thought of an idea for a video for ya! So I've been told If you want to live in a pre-built POI and not have Z's spawning inside your walls all you have to do is either upgrade the existing floor OR replace the floor with your own blocks.And thats suppose to stop the spawn, same as building a base out of nothing. This might be something ppl would be interested in knowing. Thanks for all the great content man! Keep the knowledge train rolling!

What a simple, yet efficient and cost effective concept. I saw something similar and more basic to hunt bears. Now imagine making this base out of steel plated, reinforced concrete parts. It would be literally unbreakable by dogs and hard for even cop zombies to break. Im gonna make one to see how well it works out against my day 385 horde. I hope it survives all those cops.

Seems like it might be a good idea to enhance that bases defenses with some spike logs 4 or 5 blocks out around the base, and maybe barbed wire just under the base with a 3 block weigth between the poles, leaving you more control over soften zombies.

I've tried making this design 3 times in different flat locations and when I tried it would only let me place 4 poles out before breaking off every time. So I tried to modify it by placing 4 poles instead of the 5 and 6, but even on that design when I went to place the side plates it made everything fall anyways. I'm playing on Alpha 16.4. I love this design and would like to use it but I'm at a loss. I tried it on 2 different flat roadways in the town, and one time outside of the town on a flat path. Is there anyway to get around this?

How are you one shotting the zombies in the 7 day horde, are you using steel arrows? Even with iron arrows I can never 1 shot zombies at a low level of archery

Are you on console? Some people reported the same problem and it seems that consoles and pc dont have the same structural integrity code. If you are on pc, try placing plates from and around the vertical pole first, don't go too much outwards right away

If you are on console it might not work because code might not be the same. On Pc, im sure it can be done. You have to place blocks in the exact same order as i did, wooden plates included.

I don't know if this is just broken worlds but on ps4 for me 7 day hordes aren't very intense I may get a copy if lucky but special infected and other kinds like that I get nothing maybe 10-20 normal zombies and that's it, it's on all my worlds it really sucks makes the game to easy and watching how much you have on day 14 is more than I have gotten on day 84 it sucks balls cuz I wanna just spray with my guns, rarely need to use ammo. Especially when I have over 3 stacks of 9mm 2 stacks of 7's and 3 stacks of shells. Edit": copy= cop damn auto correct

My days are long in game so i do much more. Try increasing you gamestage if you are on pc. Its hard to explain how here so you're gonna have to google it. It makes the game much harder
