Once I finally got the bad strands out of my head through a couple years of hard and soft trims, I was able to wear a wash and go longer. and my hair is thriving I didn't realize how much the health of my strands were affecting my styles. (I had more "mid-splits" than I knew) I used to HAVE to do twist outs, because wash and gos would end up knotted after just a day or two. Now I can go with it for longer (with EVERY day including some addition of moisture in the form of water or aloe vera juice from a spray bottle, or just a quick rinse in the shower to remove some shed hairs). I'm loving this life. I'm on my way to length!!!!

Great suggestions. I have always enjoyed your videos and this one is no exception. However, a word of caution to all my natural sisters regarding the wash and go. Underneath all that beautiful hair is a box that contains very delicate structures like our brain and blood vessels that can tear and bleed. If we all shake our heads like that some of us are going to end up on the operating table with a brain bleed and having a scar where hair should be growing from. I think there must be another way to achieve that look while still taking care of our brains. Much love.

I’ve tried a deep conditioner once and I didn’t enjoy it. That’s not to say they won’t have other products I may like. I just haven’t tried anymore.

On your thumbnail it says 1 year of growth. However, in your video, showing the same two pics from your thumbnail, it is 2 years and 2 months of growth. And after watching the whole video, I see that you retained no more length than the average person. So what is the point of this video truly? Are you really trying to help people and educate people or misleading people into believing that you know something about growing long hair “fast” that all these other women on KZbin with a lot longer hair than you don’t know. Also, why are you (and many others on KZbin) making the natural hair journey all about length. Being natural or going natural is about being chemical free. Not everyone wants to grow or wear their hair long. Furthermore, having healthy hair is way more important than having long hair.

Yeah, I had a typo. That what people are commenting on. My timeline is October 2019 to December 2020 (we’re not in December 2021 yet). I think that’s the photo you’re talking about. My hair grows at a normal rate and I’m able to retain a good amount of it. No gimmicks...Also, health is literally the first point I made. Not just hair health, body health. My goal has always been health and now that I have healthy hair, my goal is length. Nothing wrong with that. Anyway, thanks for dropping by.

Your videos are too long, you talk entirely too much! Perhaps if you give the information in 5 minutes or less, you would increase your views and subscribers. 🙄 I'm exhausted I can't finish this!
