Nice vids! Agree with the points, apart from the killer mentality I guess. Not sure how much that contributes to consistency, but apart from that imho Pinturault doesn't have it like e.g. Hirscher or Ligety. Pintu should have won the overall last year but he DNF'ed in some very very important slalom races, which cost him a lot of points. I'd say the mental aspect is Pintu's achilles heel.

I think the right mentality allows for several good runs in a row, and i think this year he has shown (especially in the parallel GS and now) that he has what it takes to win the world cup. But you are right, he s not quite on the level of all time greats...

I notice a lot of the world cup skiers pick up the inside ski at the top of the turn (this video included) and on occasions both skis are off the snow, especially in SL. I know we want to keep both skis on the snow when we train and advise young racers, so perhaps you could address this issue in a future video. Thanks as always for your great videos.

True i should do video about this! Picking up both skis is imo done to have the same effect as sliding into turns, just with less friction and less time needed for the same effect.
