Hi Brian. Thanks for the video posts. Interesting and informative. I've got a Sunrise Aquarian. It's 8 years old and I am religious about maintaining clean, balanced water. (It uses Bromine/silver oxide + an ozone generator) Here's my question... When I drain and refill it (twice a year) It's very difficult to get the PH and Alkaline levels correct. When I use PH increase, the Alkaline level drops. Then I try to raise the Alkaline level, and the PH drops. (Hardness is adjusted with a calcium liquid) Is there a product out there (either liquid or powder) that will raise PH and Alkaline together ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Good morning, thank you for watching. The standard has always been to use sodium bicarbonate which is baking soda to raise total alkalinity and sodium carbonate which is soda ash to raise pH. One thing to mention is when you using Alkalinity up it's always important to mix it in a bucket and then add it to the water. You can use a product like this one in the link store.atlantahottubcenter.com/collections/consumables/products/ph-up This will raise both but of course to different ranges. I would fine tune the pH once you get the Alkalinity in the correct range not the other way around. Hope this helps

Good afternoon, I really like to see a 24 hour circulation pump because ozone’s and UV systems are only limited the growth of bacteria when water is moving through them. This is important to the process. Sundance, Hotspring, Jacuzzi, Master Spas, Caldera all have good systems in place. However, not all of the models have 24 hr circulation so make sure to ask them or ask me and I’m more than happy to help you! Thanks and hope this helps!

Good evening, both great hot tubs! Nice choices. I think it comes down to dealership and comfort. If you can set up a wet test on a twilight series and the 400 series you would know which one is best for you! If that’s not a possibility then sit in both series dry or without water. Remember, the hot tub won’t get anymore comfortable with water in it. On another note, check into the dealership and make sure they have an in house service team which can super important. @@mikes5411 Good morning, they both have good jetting systems. I think you will find the power of the jets to be alike. However, the styles and action will be different. In other words, the massage will be different and that’s what it will most likely come down to

Good morning, they both have full plastic bases so either one. I would make your decision on which one best fits you and your family. I would go to each dealer and feel the jets, open up the motor compartment, sit in them both, look at dealer reviews, etc. and then make a decision. They are very different hot tubs but both well built. Hope this helps!

I would also check on their reviews from already purchased customers. There’s nothing wrong with asking for a couple of referrals you can talk to. Furthermore, I would go to each dealership and sit in both potential hot tubs dry to see which one fits you and your family better. Remember, the hot tub won’t be any more comfortable with water in it. If your purchasing for therapy reasons, I would set up a wet test or at a minimal feel the different jets in each hot tub. Remember, the one thing you’ll enjoy each and every time you use the hot tub are going to be the jets! Either way they’re both well built hot tubs. Hope this helps

Good morning, I am not a plug and play fan. Reasons are when you turn the jets on the heater turns off. This can be a problem on those colder days and nights. Furthermore, it will only heat 2-3 degrees an hour on 115v compared to 7-8 degrees on 220v. Really, 220v is just much more efficient. The J-225 is convertible which means you can hook it up 220v or 115v. As far as the brand and hot tub, this really depends on why your buying hot tub. Jacuzzi makes a good hot tub. Hope this helps!

@@VictorReyes-cj8qs Yes, on 115v when you turn the jet pumps on, the heater will turn off. In other words, if it's 30 degrees outside and you have the jets on you have about 10 minutes before it starts becoming a cold tub. This may work for you. Really this depends on your expectations of the product. You can also start on 115v and then move it to 220v since it's convertible. Hope this helps!

Good morning, this really depends on what you buy. Some hot tubs really just need access to the motor compartment. Some hot tubs need full access all the way around due to electronic and motor placement. I will say this, either way you go there may be a time you’ll need access to the various sides. For self supporting shell products, it’s less likely you’ll need access to anything but the motor compartment for a long time. Generally, a technician needs at least 18”-24” of space to work. I just got a quota for a 240v 60hz install for a n Artesian Elite Hot Tub.. and they quoted $4230 usd .. (in Alabama Aug 22) I near shit my pants … I feel like they also saw a nice house n then just raised the price… I am eating on 2 more quotas but i was expecting something like $1500-1800. I had a 240 put in for my hot tub cost me $1700 may 2022. In Michigan. Shop around people you don't just go with one quote come on now. I've had quotes at $3,000 and $4000. There's licensed electricians out there that do side jobs all day long. Here's a quick tip go into new construction homes being built and pull electrician off to the side, offer him a side gig
