I live in Dundee. My living room window looks out onto the front door of Dens and onto the back of one of the stands of Tannadice. I remember once walking down the street chatting about football with a mate from work. We started talking about how shit one Dundee player was in particular, and about some of his personal family issues that are known locally. We turned to walk into my flat and seen that the player himself, who we had been loudly talking about and taking the piss out of, had been walking behind us the whole time. He must have heard us because he didn't look happy! He never said anything though. I felt like a right dickhead. Lol.

I was amazed that these didn't even make the list. Given the fierce rivalry between Levski and CSKA and the insane close proximity to one another's stadium I'd imagined it to be definitely within the top 7. However, given the fact he's only looking at distance, it's correct. the centre circles of those stadiums are 512 metres apart, whereas the #7 in this list are 449 metres apart.

I walked through the park that connects the Vasil Levski Stadium and the Balgarska Armia Stadium back then, amazed about those stadiums being this close together. I never bothered to look it up as it made all the sense in the world at that moment (and frankly, I don't speak nor read Bulgarian, so the signs in the area weren't of much help to me either). In my home country(Faroe Islands) we have 3 stadiums side by side. Tórsvøllur(International football), Gundadalur(Two team in the premier league) and Niðari Vøllur(A team in the 4th division). There is around 20-30 metres between Gundadalur and Niðari Vøllur and about 50-60 metres between Niðari Vøllur and Tórsvøllur. Go on google maps and you can see how close they are.

Ullevi and Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg Sweden, 750 metres according to Google! Ullevi isn't connected to a team though, but it is used as reserve arena for the city football teams. Gamla Ullevi is the home for the three alliance teams in Gothenburg, IFK Gothenburg (UEFA Cup winners in 1982 and 1987) and GAIS and Örgryte. Even more close, but that the other one isnt longer a football stadium but have been, Borås Arena and Ryavallen in Borås Sweden. Ryavallen was once the home stadium for the city teams Elsborg and Norrby, before they moved to Borås Arena that is the closest neighbour. In fact, the stand of Ryavallen is wall to wall with Borås Arena!
