The recipe for the yule log as we couldn't find it written down :D Wholewheat flour ( SF ) 1 cup. ) Self rising flour ( 1 Cup ) Sugar ( 1 Cup ) Cacao powder ( 4 table spoons ) Baking powder ( 1 tea spoon ) Pinch of salt Blend all this together ^^^^^ Then Two teaspoons of vanilla extract 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar ⅓ cup olive oil ( Third of a cup ) 1 cup almond milk Blend all together again Cook at 190C for 20-25 mins. Butter 2.5 cups Cream the butter Add the next ingredients 4 cups Icing sugar Cocao powder 1 cup Blend that Next Melted dark chocolate 2 cups ( 340 grams ) Blend into the icing .

Did you buy the puff pastry vegan or did you hand make it?

The popular brand ready-made puff pastry in England, "Jus-Rol", is vegan, so I think they just use that. Where I live, the supermarket brands are usually vegan and available in the refrigerated section, but there are other puff pastries in the freezer section yet I've only seen one of those that are actually vegan. It may be different where you live. I'm sure you could do the recipe with other types of pastry (suitable for sweet recipes) and it would be okay. :)

I made the Tutti Frutti Sharing Pancake dessert exactly as described. I was very unhappy. The batter did not turn out correct and was a mushy mess. Too good to be true and ruined my dessert.
