People who criticize idols and public figures for underage drinking really annoys me because you cannot tell me that most people have waited till it was legal for them to drink alcohol for the first time. It actually kinda helps beat alcohol addiction. Everyone i know, including me, who drank underage is now out of their alcohol phase. I barely ever go drinking. Only a few times a year for special occasions like birthday, or a holiday.

To be honest, the most critical issue probably is that they got caught. I assume many pictures where taken pre-debut and should have never been made public. Or the idols were too careless and reveiled themselves. Many minors have had their sip, right? I don't think that it is such a big deal because underage drinking is pretty common in Austria. I just think that it's important to drink alcohol in a responsible way. To me that means that you don't drink only to get drunk and forget about your life and that you don't drink every day. If you want to consume alcohol you should do so because you like how it tastes and not because you seek the relief you get from it. To be fair tho: That probably doesn't happen a lot when teenagers are throwing a party. However, I am strictly against underage smoking because I have a few people like that in my class. Smoking doesn't only harm your body it also harms and affects others (passive smoking) and if you have to sit beside someone that smokes maybe people think you do too because of the smell and the cigarette packages on the desk etc. This can damage your image and get you in trouble
