Thanks for the shortcuts! Only issue I have is running the screenshot shortcut when I take a screenshot. All that is happening is the screenshot shows and goes to the bottom left corner waiting for me to choose what do with it and not actually doing what I have set for it to do.

You're welcome! And battery health can't be brought up in a Shortcut, unfortunately. Best you can do is use a URL scheme to jump to that part of settings.

Thanks Stephen...Shortcuts were tested in Delhi and Sao Paolo and Frankfurt and worked great while on a layover.......I added in "Speak Text" to the shortcut so it gives me an aural as well. ....Now I just gotta figure out how to speak that Data Jar " Hotel room number" result when I arrive at the Data Jar "Location."...... Very useful and appreciate your work on this.....Cheers

So glad it’s been working Ian! And that part of the automation is tough since the address / location changes every trip. And you can’t “auto create” an automation based on a trigger. I’ll keep thinking though 🤔

I just had an idea. Normally I use my action button for the flashlight, I could instead use a shortcut to only toggle the flashlight if nothing else fits. The other thing (so far) would be to create a reminder of the current running podcast episode and the time to get back to that exact spot later - if a podcast is running. I couldn’t figure out how to get that data, is this possible?

You can! It will use any changes you make to the shortcut next time you trigger the action button

is there a way to create a shortcut/automation, that I can use an NFC tag with, to log when I take my daily medicine? I have my medicine set up in the "Medicine" app for my apple watch, and I know how to use NFC's to trigger shortcuts and automations, but I haven't been able to find a way to specifically "log medicine as taken", with a shortcut or automation. I saw one youtube video do it, but they could only do it by creating a Reminder, and having the NFC trigger that Reminder to be "Marked as completed', but not one that could actually log the medicine. You can skip the NFC tag part as the trigger being that part of the process is easy for me, but if you can find a way to create a shortcut/automation that will actually log my medicine as taken, that would be fantastic!

I wish! I log several medications through the Health app and strangely there are no "log as taken" actions available. So can'y do it just yet.

Building off the pet feeding shortcut. I’ve got a complicated request. Can you make a shortcut that runs on specific days assigned to specific people to log if each dog eat their entire meal a.m. and p.m. and also ask if they had any potty accidents in the house and record number one number two and approximate time, they pooped outside and if they did was it normal or something else. This would be a huge tremendous help to my big family Keeping track of our four dogs!

Here’s my favorite new shortcut/ automation. When my phone connects to CarPlay, it uses an automation to turn on my fave Sirius channel on the app and then drop down a menu of my other fave channels at the same time in case I want to listen to something else. The menu is a shortcut that I also keep on my drive focus mode phone screen so I can access it at any time - because the Sirius app interface is crap.

One shortcut I made that I like is my iPhone and Watch automatically turn silent mode on when I disconnect from my Wi-Fi network, because I want it to be silent when I'm outside. My AirPods Pro also automatically turn on transparency mode. When I'm back home connected to my wi-fi network my phone and watch automatically turn silent mode off.

I do try to balance speed for KZbin and slower for understanding. But others have found changing the playback speed to .5 or .25x helps! Meanwhile others play at 2x or 3x 😳
