Some ppl in this comment section are so weird and dumb, asking how the deserts are japanese and that it's not japanese. Were you expecting Japanese people to have sushi chocolate? They're a 1st world country in 21st century, they eat western food and has made many of their own version, it's been like that for decades. Sometimes the desert has changed far from the original so it's appropriate to call it Japanese deserts, it make more sense. It's also popular in japan and became known overseas as a japanese desert.

I’m Japanese myself, and I never even saw matcha creme brulee. Even if there is, it’s not just famous (or I just don’t go to cafes too often). Tasty just wants to make the money by using the concept of ‘matcha’. There so much Japanese sweets like anmitsu and manju, yet they only choose the ones that relate the most to western audiences.

The “Brick French Toast” is actually something a cafe makes near where I live. But they call it a “Toast Box.” It’s absolutely amazing, and the bread is the perfect texture if you like slightly dough like baked goods. And then they add ice cream, a macaron, whipped cream, and pocky. It’s delicious, but it does have a lot of sugar and calories 😅 me and my friend couldn’t even finish it and we both love sweets. But if you were wondering, they are totally worth getting! And are absolutely delicious.

Big-footed Sasquatch You know I used to agree with people like you but now it's just getting fucking annoying. We get it, America isn't fucking perfect but neither is Japan or any other country what so ever.

@big-footedsasquatch9201 7 жыл бұрын
Your Neighbor ok, I see your point of view and even agree with it myself, as no country is ever going to be perfect, but along with that we also have to recognize that no person is perfect, and that everyone was rasied with different values and opinions. this isn't an argument, I'm just trying to stop other people from ruining this comment chain and getting overly worked up over a misunderstanding :)

Why not? I'm pretty sure they do because they want to know how they do and how to improve. Not to mention that the marathon of the "for two" videos ended its streak when one of the members uploaded the for one. They must've saw all those comments and decided to actually make one lol.

TheLegend27 they read comments. I know that when they first started out on KZbin, wayyy before they reached over 2 million subs, they responded to one of my comments.

Man that brick french toast is huge, who is gonna eat an entire loaf of bread ? The fluffy cheesecake just make me touch it 😂 The mochi looks dreamy (Anyone know how to pronounce mochi ? Is it Moshi, Moki, something else?)

I love these videos, is it possible to slow the speed of the video, or pause longer on the end result? just as soon as i'm trying to see the end result and be mesmerized it moves on immediately to the second recipe.

Fati Strawberry french toast *is not* French or Japanese (just like the other desserts in this video), it is just popular in Japan (and Japanized to appeal to people) :3
