A better way of saying this title would have been something like this, Mark Morton: Restoring Your Faith in Drop D Tuning. You could go through LoG's entire catalog and maybe, MAYBE find one or two riffs that aren't very good. And when you consider that's seven records, that's saying a lot.
@JamieSlays7 жыл бұрын
Aaron Turner haha it may have been a bit long but I'll consider it 😏
@Omen_Seven7 жыл бұрын
Fanboying aside, I really do struggle to think of any LoG riffs that aren't good. Even when it comes to Mark's "worst" ones, they're just decent metal riffs. There aren't very many guitarists out there you can say that about.
@chrisbotha80856 жыл бұрын
Actually Willie Adler wrote allot of those riffs, songs Willie wrote: "Black Label," "11th Hour," "Blood Junkie," "Hourglass," "Blood of the Scribe," "Beating on Death's Door," "Ashes of the Wake," "Ruin" and "Again We Rise."

@Headbanger90007 жыл бұрын
Zack Fraser Nothing is wrong with Drop D. It just seems that just about every Post Hardcore band just one day decided to listen to Meshuggah and they said "Derrrp we can do that tooo, cept with morez breakdownz and instead of the low F tuning, lets make that a full ocatve low E from standard, deerrrr" So then Djent was formed and now every 16 yr old kid listening to the new trendy Djent music today, is picking up a 8 string guitar, turning the gain all the way up, playing the same string over and over (yeah really taking Meshuggah to the next level xD) and worst of all, playing an 8 string with SHIT TONE. That sums up just about all djent today. Cry me a river
