Smoked Salt That Works!!! IN ANY OVEN!!! Very close to tasting exactly like a brisket from my Big Green Egg.. I honestly can say that I have never tried any product that comes anywhere close to the natural smoke flavor of a outdoor smoker as this does... You may think it is too strong of smoke essence when you first smell it... Just like I did...but when you use the same ratio of 50/50 smoked salt and coarse ground pepper like I do in this video... I think you will agree that it is perfect!! I tried a few different ratios but this was what I think worked best... And it was excellent!!! I cooked several briskets during this test over a 3 week span and none were bad... And all were eaten by myself and many family members who all raved about how good it was... I also tried a few different Temps that produced very good results as low as 220° Fahrenheit that lasted throughout the night and into the next day but it was very good... May have been the best one but I decided that was not practical for most people and maybe something that was going to be fairly hard to explain...i had to use 2 thermometers with one that woke me up at say 4am... Not something I thought most people just wanting some really good smoked brisket for say a Sunday dinner... So I decided that maybe the temps and times I use here would suit most of my subscribers and it makes a truly wonderful brisket...I guarantee it was well received around here... Several times...lol... But the lower temps do work and may be something you want to try. All that being said... It ain't that much better than this 7 hour... Start to finish Brisket...that will come complete with bragging rights...i have had many from other people's smokers that wouldn't touch this one...i really mean that... Try it...
