I bought this foundation to wear at work and I adore it. I use a matte primer on my T zone and a nice soft primer on the rest of my face and it lasts me ALL DAY. From the time I put it on through a hard day in the office with surgeons and procedures and all the fun things of MA life, to when I come home and have my tiny army of 3 crawling all over me and wanting play time with mommy. I think had you used a primer it would have made a world of difference! You, yourself say that using a primer is important. I think you should do a re-test of this with primer! :) 💙💙

I honestly feel like you should have taken it off and put on the primer before the foundation because it’s not entirely fair to judge it if you’re doing your regular make-up routine out-of-order. I mean it probably is also the foundation but like you never know. But your eye makeup is so cool!! :D

Because if you have a break out and u rub the applicator on the break out and then put it back in the bottle all of that bacteria just went into the bottle and then you are gonna pump the applicator in the bottle and move it all around and then put it on your face to highlight or carve out contour or eyebrows!

Concealer needs a precise aplication. Not everyone uses the triangle way to apply. A pump in a concealer would be a waste of product and you would need an extra brush for spot concealing.

This ia true.. especially of the tarte shape tape that lasts quite a while.. i bet the foundation would finish earlier than the tarte shape tape concealer. So it would be more grimy!

The concealer doesn’t go all over your face though, but yes it can be just as unsanitary. If I’m concealing fresh/active breakouts I’ll put the concealer on the back of my hand and use a brush. But for under the eyes and stuff, I don’t mind those kind of applicators. :)

The amount of time it takes to swipe your whole face is considerably longer than just concealing.. which means there’s more time for bacteria to reach the bottle (through the air) and also to get on the applicator ... my own thoughts

I'm going to bet the huge hit-or-miss factor with this foundation is the fragrance. Some people's skin is REALLY sensitive to it and after enough time will start overproducing oil to get it off. My own skin does the same with Shape Tape sometimes even though it's my absolute favorite.

I've tried this foundation and it's not that scented, but I think Rimmel products break me out. The Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation smells like paint! the Wet n Wild Foundation smells worse than anything I've tried.

Yeah. The interesting thing about scents though is that if you're sensitive to them, you're going to smell them way way way stronger than anyone else. So, like, with Shape Tape, I smell it all day. Whenever the wind blows or I turn my head too fast I smell it. It's a pleasant smell, so I don't mind, but NO ONE else I know says that about it. And, if I mention how strong it smells, people look at me with the squinty eyed confusion. So, I'm not surprised that for her, or others that had it break them out, have a sensitivity to it and it's why it was so strong and obnoxious. I mean, even right now with Rihanna's body lava some say it smells divine, others actually leaned back bc it was too strong and then others were like "I literally smell nothing".

I personally don’t think you have this foundation a fair shot. You didn’t try it with a primer (and before anyone bites my head off, she tries pretty much all others with one). Primer wouldn't have changed the way it dramatically shifted from matte to greasy, broke down suddenly, smeared all over the place, and make her other products hard to blend. It shouldn't require a second product to work, and many of us don't use/hate primers and want to know how they work without another 20-30 dollar product to add to a routine. This is the foundation I use daily. It goes on thick and dry without a primer, but with a primer it is smooth and dewy (which I love). The primer also keeps it from smearing all over. And I always use a moisturizing setting spray. All things considered, it's a really nice product for the price, I just think she didn't know what to expect from it, and therefore didn't know what to pair it with.

Cierra Myers it's harder to control concealer with a pump. A doe foot in a concealer is a MUST for a uniform amount coming out, where it goes, etc. You don't need to be that precise with foundation since you smother it all over your face anyway.

I have oily skin and this foundation works great for me. It's not full-coverage cake-face like a lot of foundations designed for oily skin are, it makes my skin look very natural and glowy and flawless.

I've been wearing this foundation for the last month. In the UK it cost between £8.99 and £9.99. I got it in the one dark shade they have!. I have very oily skin and as long as i wear a decent oil control primer underneath, it lasts about 8 hours on me before it breaks up on my skin. I laughed when you forgot your primer. For the first time in years, I forgot to put primer on today. The foundation lasted an hour before it started disintegrating on my face.

I use this foundation and I love it!! I always use a primer and set it with the maybelleine setting powder. And sometimes I use a setting spray. I wear it al day with no problems.

I've been using it over 6 months now. I have normal to dry skin and generally enjoy it a lot. It feels light goes on really nice and I actually love the fragrance. I've never worn it over 14 hours but I am a fan of it.

The idea is that concealer usually goes on under eye bags that not an area where bacteria accumulates but on the face there could be acne or maybe you just haven't washed your face before makeup so bacteria build up, that the general idea

I don't always agree eith Tati but she does give goid reviews and advice on makeup. I think she looks stunning in this video and love her eye makeup. Its super dramatic but beautiful and she has amazing green eyes! I always though her eyes were blue but the camera was closer in this video and really picked up on her eyes. So pretty, and I read somewhere that green eyes are the rarest color. Anywho she looked really pretty today.

The Rimmel foundation with the red lid is one of my favorites, but I ran out and wanted to try something new. I had this one in my hand and at the last minute changed my mind and grabbed the wet n wild foundation. Now I'm really glad that I did

Added fragrance can also be a skin irritant for a lot of people. And if I product smells bad that could be a deal breaker for some people. She's just trying to give a thorough and honest review.

i have oily skin and with a good setting powder, it worked very well for me. i also very much enjoyed rimmel's prior 25 hour lasting finish foundation (not sure if this was the same or a new formula) and i found this one to be softer and blend a little easier for that airbrushed look.
