7 MINUTE AXLE replacement on NEW SUBARU

This is on a 2017 3.6 Subaru Outback.
However, it should be nearly identical for 2010-2025+ Outback.
28321AL010 is the factory part number.
It lists for all 2015-2019 Subaru Outback and Legacy.

A second jack under the a arm helps in holding the weight of the caliper

Putting a lot of stress on that ABS sensor harness hanging like that. I’d undo that bolt on the frame first.

Would you recommend grease on either spindle end?

Couldn't hurt. It should be sealed against the differential and the diff is filled with gear oil.

There was a vibration when accelerating. That was the only symptom. It didn't even seem loose or worn internally.

Is there a torque spec on the wheel hub? Or just tighten it real good

The 32mm is 165 lb ft and the lug nuts are 88 lb ft.
