Thanks for sharing awesome tips! I'm financially free and currently growing a solid retirement plan. It takes a positive and consistency to learn new things, unlearn the old habits ms Important to get a mentor/coach to lead you all the way. It's great to start young too!

Legal! Thank you for the video Erika! I think keeping up with the joneses is the worst mistake because people think their peers look down on them for not having x,y,z thing when they really don’t. Instead of bettering yourself, you’re bettering people’s short term opinion of you. Another thing that helps for me when there are market downturns, I look at the percentage instead of the dollar amount since the percentage is probably going to be a much nicer number.

Dollar value, does not matter, what matters are your percentage returns. Example, you have $1,000 and you buy a small percentage of Bitcoin at $60,000. You hold until the price rises to $75,000 and you sell. You just made a return of 25%

I have several friends who are multi-millionaires. Some have multiple expensive cars and homes while others appear poor and are show worth of only what they have on them (everything else is sheltered). Your teaching us the things they never teach you in school. We all know why. I am trying to walk the line between living life (since it is not a trial run) and having a safe retirement income. Every time I feel I made progress, inflation movies my goal post further from me.

Hi Erika. I must say that I like your video. What you make is good sense. I come from a family that buys more of their wants and not their needs. I've learned in the past to save myself from falling in traps like that. Yes as you know I am a guitar player and I'm not like the typical guitar player that has to have a new guitar every time I turn around. I only have 2 guitars and don't feel I need anymore. But every time around tax season there is always a musician trying to get me to buy more gear. I tell them no . I feel when your on a budget, be thankful with what you have. Don't put yourself in debt to please someone else. Money Does Not Grow On Trees. That is a song I wrote and play it out regularly. Thank you for this video. I miss watching you.
