Imagine playing a 1 hour classical game and then losing by a dumb checkmate after spending only 15 seconds of your time

One of the things that always makes me mad is when it's 30 minutes in and THEN I blunder. Then I'm like, "I WASTED ALL THAT TIME TO A STUPID MISTAKE." XDD

Before studying openings and in particular opening traps I would suggest studying through basic endgames, and chess tactics. The opening is probably one of the least important parts of the game to study(The main thing with openings is to know the why behind them. Why each move is played how it is and what that get's you. This helps you understand strategy better.)

Absolutely! I love endgames! That’s what got me into chess!

Bro.... you need to be at least 1700 rating. No one is gonna learn anything from watching an 800 vs a 500. lol. Great effort though.

I'm just a beginner documenting my journey. Go play chess or go outside. Better yet, make some content!

Any updates? I really hope you make some chess videos! I just started playing again today!!

@@JerryCricketGaming well.... I can tell you this. I definitely played a lot of chess and I definitely went outside a lot, and content creation went tits up. To be honest though, I had no intention of making any chess content. It would be something else.

@@asdfgoogle Have you ever played Xiangqi (Chinese Chess)? It's such an interesting mental exercise because of the different board and different rules. If you haven't tried Xiangqi, I highly recommend it.
