When I got into SBs, the Tiffs were one of the ones at the top of my list. Thought I was crazy dropping 5 bills on a used pair in good condition back then. Still have them and rock them on occasion. If only I had been crazy enough to pick up those Black Cement Supreme SBs as well.

Yo Reggie, you've got to give them to your boy lol. Keeping with the skate theme you could do a list of skateboarder collabs that changed street fashion - you've got a lot fun ones like the Muska's with the stash pocket or the Marana Hook-Ups collab.

I got into dunks (and sneakers in general) in the mid 2000s, and still have a few pairs from back then. But it drives me crazy to think about all the pairs I beat to death ad threw out that would be worth a lot these days! lol

The Newcastle brown ale dunks were my favourite, mainly because it was my dads favourite drink and he let me have some of it when I was at the pub with him. Even though they don’t have the drinks star on the side like the Heinekens did I’d still love to one day grab a pair for myself.

I was the guy that always had friends and family collecting dunk sbs back in the early 2000's as I was just a teen lol. IMO, I felt like people who collect shoes back in the days did it as a hobbie/bonding with each other. Now a days, it be a whole different ball game trying to collect a dime or two. Watching this video just hit me with a nostalgic ray gun. Though it's not a dunk sb, my favorite was the Vanilla Ice Blazer SB!

Hey Reg, I fell in love with the old SB’s a few years ago, but never could afford them due to the price. So I started restoring them myself. I’d buy my beat up “grails” from Yahoo auction (I live in Japan too!), repaint them, swap the soles with new dunks. Now I own semi-beat up both supreme cement dunks, huf tie-die dunks, cherry dunks, and tifs. Keep up your amazing work and I hope I run into you in Japan sometime!

Not really a size 11, but I want to join in on the fun.hahaha One of my favorite dunks ever are the MIA dunks. It had all these freebies during its release, and really has that beach vibe in its color blocking and not to mention, a good variety of materials on them as well. I’d definitely double-up if given the chance. Another striking pair is the Piet Mondrian dunks. Simple but very bold. Last but not the least is the Gibson dunks. That colorway was just crazy! That pop of pink really sets it to a different level with the tan brown leather all over and the gum midsole. Really reminds you of that guitar hardcase vibe.

I found my first and only 2 pairs of dunks in a wholesale nike retailer outside my town (greetings from Jalisco, Mexico). At the beginning I didn’t noticed the importance of the dunk silhouette😂 for me they were jordans for the people that couldnt find jordans. BOY I WAS WRONG. Later I learned that these 2 dunks were in fact collabs from skaters Ishod Wair (Perfect Pink lows) and Richard Mulder (Mulder highs). I lived 2 years without knowing that. That teached me a lesson of never letting Hype ruin my taste. Cause at the end of the day I took them home because i liked them, and im so thankful for that.

Its dope to see a list on some of the iconic SB’s from when I was a kid. One of my favorites and the first high top was the Paul Browns. Still a shoe I have been trying to hunt down in my size. As sad as I am to see dunks lose their attainablility, its dope to see some people who still appreciate the history behind the shoes. Reese OG wheat Dunks are prob my favorites followed by the Mondrians. Those Fragments are nice, already have the Purple one and would def love the chance to try the navy in hand since they are my size. Dope vid!

In the early 2000's my friends and I used dunks when commuting on our sportbikes (had a ZX-7R at the time). We used armored boots for track and back road antics, but since riding sneakers hadn't yet been invented we did what skaters did and got creative using variations of basketball shoes.
