There is no real proof that the photo is from Byers’s case, and it’s very likely to actually have been a picture of a soldier who got his jaw blown off by an explosion (if I’m wrong, please correct me. That photo isn't actually about Eben Byers, this photo is from a book named "Military surgical Manuals" where this photo has being put as an "Examples of facial injuries". This man in the photo is most likely to be a WW1/WW2 victim. It seemed to be preying on them for no other reason than to kill them which is why the case was so strange. Grizzly bears, also known as brown bears, have a rounded face, rounded ears, and a curvier muzzle. Black bears on the other hand have pointier faces, ears, and a straight snout. Radium jaw is truly horrible.even though that jaw photo isnt radium jaw, it's the basic premise. Radium jaw is a horriffic incident where a factory used radium power to make glowing stopwatches and clocks. They hired girls around the ages of 12-25 and gave them paint brushes, the girls often put this highly radioactive paint on their faces, lips, eyelids, because it glowed, and the powder glowed so much they would purposely put it on their clothee and hair too. They even dipped the paintbrushes in their mouths because they were told it was 100% safe. About 2-3 years later, even after most quit, peices of their jaw and bone litterally fell out of their mouth, untill they had no jaw, where it then moved to their throat and heart. 15-30 year old women choked on their blood, and were tortured by what we now use for chemotherapy.

As a woman, it's also frustrating because not even being two people together (the good ol' 'Buddy System') can keep one safe. Even if they were teen girls, you'd think that, being two people, they could at least have the drive or ability to attempt to run or fight back. This guy must've had a gun and the gift of gab. I don't know or WANT to know that those two girls died but all those "One guy kills a bunch of women at once story" is frustrating for me. I'm not blaming the victims, mind you, I'm blaming thousands of years of mental programing that convinced over 50% of humanity that they are so weak that even one man could overpower a group of them. But again, he probably had a gun. For once, I just want to hear a story of a "Delphi Murder" or "Boston Strangler" type situation when the group of female victims just went "Screw this" and ganged up on the guy. Correction: Evan byers jaw didn't fall off. It was surgically removed after the lower mandible (jaw bone) was more or less decayed, doctors believed removing the jaw would stop the decay from spreading but that obviously didn't happen

A survival fact for if you ever encounter a predatory animal: NEVER turn your back to them. If they see your back, the predator will think you're going to run away and will start chasing you. There is no predatory animal you can outrun. You either play dead, or you make loud noises and make yourself look as big as possible. If you do get attacked, fight back. Predators are at the least energy efficient part of the food chain, they aren't going to exert excess energy to try to kill something that's actively fighting back
