I’m legally blind, and have almost no usable vision. When I was a kid, my parents sent me to daycamp where they would teach blind people how to do every day tasks. In order to keep things fair, they made all of us wear blindfolds. Those of us who had some vision hated it, while the people who were totally blind, didn’t really understand what the fuss was about. It was certainly an experience, but I’d rather put the limited vision I have to use then just kick it to the curb.

All Apple products have a built-in screen reader called voiceover that can be accessed in settings under accessibility. It reads text out loud, and can also usually describe images. It’s quite useful. I can do most things online, using it, although sometimes, it is a bit more tedious than it would be for a sided person. With typing, I usually use speech to text, as I would have to double tap each letter in order to manually type. I also sometimes use a Bluetooth keyboard, which I have memorized.

The main reason why the cinnamon challenge was so dangerous is because cinnamon doesn’t dissolve in water Unlike salt or sugar, which will slowly dissolve in your mouth, cinnamon will stay here and coat your mouth to make it super dry So, you can’t breathe because it’s just stuck in your mouth, but the cinnamon makes you want to cough. After coughing, you then inhale, inhaling the cinnamon into your lungs

It's surprising that what seems fairly harmless could be so dangerous. When i was little and the cinnamon challenge was just becoming viral, I didnt understand why people called it stupid and harmful. It's seasoning, you put it in food, ive had table spoons of other things. When i learned that cinnamon affects people's throats and mouths, it shocked me. I might've even tried it thinking it wasn't something that would hurt me and be more funny like eating a nasty flavored jelly bean. And the ice and salt, no clue. Seriously who would think ice and salt could burn your skin that bad? But yet when you break down the science its horrifying. I'm glad i was pretty young when some of these trends were around because i didnt have that much access to social media. But its legitimately kinda scary how what seems simple, like making a milk crate tower or eating a spoon full of a spice could cause so much harm. Unlike the tide pod and "take a bite" challenges that posed obvious risks, I mean dancing after jumping out of a moving car is stupid. Makes you wonder what other harmless things could end up seriously hurting you if you got curious enough

About the Vodka eyeballing challenge: I accidentally dropped 70 degrees medical alcohol into one of my eye because I put some in an empty eye drop container. I did put the label on it and put it into another pocket of my bag, but since it's identical with my other eye drops, accident is bound to happen when I didn't pay enough attention. I'm glad I reacted quickly to rinse my eyes under clean running water before my mom rushed me to the ER where I got another eye rinse with medical saline. That was such a nuisance and uncomfortable. 2:30 Less dangerous version of the cinnamon challenge idea Get the sticks instead, cinnamon sticks, not power, just the sticks. Boil it, get multiple different types, use the whole container, put them in a pot with water, and boil it all down and try to chug the concentrated cinnamon water Unless it's still scolding hot, pretty sure it's not going to hurt anybody the same way as powder. I use cinnamon water to flavor a lot of my teas, coffees, pastries and desserts, the only really disastrous thing I've made with it was my first attempt at a new ice cream flavor I've never tried it yet, but I hear it could also be used to make some quality home remedy cough syrup So even if you can't successfully complete the challenge of chugging pure cinnamon liquid, you can always just save it for making some kind of sweets or If you add it in with some other medicinal herbs you might be able to get over the flu quicker

What’s planking?
@grumpysheep96804 ай бұрын
@@stitch_-lh5ju You lay flat like a plank in certain places and take a photo. Of course people messed that up by laying on poles, in between chairs, on the road, etc. one person did it on his balcony and fell to his death. Search up planking trend to find more info.

I remember in 1st grade, that the teachers made a challenge to basically puy something random on a spoon and make us swallow it, they did sugar, salt, and *CINNAMON* a whole spoon worth! Something told me to open my eyes, and then i screamed: "Cinnamon!" Because i knew how dangerous it was, and the teachers treated me like the bad guy for ruining the " *surprise* "

What these trends are: Vodka Eyeballing: Spilling vodka in your eyes Tide Pod: Eating tide pods Kylie Jenner Lip: Putting a glass over your lips and they blow up Kiki: Dancing outside a moving car with music Salt and Ice: Putting salt and ice on your skin and denerving your skin Condom Snorting: Snorting dirty condoms up your nostrils Birdbox: Driving into a tree while being blindfolded Banana Peel: Slipping on peels and causing huge bruises Hot Pepper: Eating spicy peppers and killing the throat Hope this helped you!
