I work as a mechanic, and my watch is always getting smacked up against something metal, and in a year of use, the AWU doesn't even have a scratch on it. Its a great work watch. Still prefer my Garmin Epix gen 2 pro though for everything else. For work its AWU, for everything else its Garmin.

Honest question…how do you deal with cleaning the grease and oil off of it after wrenching?

@@Deetroiter i've not run into any issues im a bicycle mechanic but still deal with plenty of grease and grime. The flat face makes it easy to clean.

How did the pixel watch get the checkmark when you threw it out the window if it cracked and messed up the glass.. but the Apple Watch failed for a scuf the screen was completely undamaged??

i liked the first few tests they were quite practical and useful. But I think running over the watches, was a bit of a silly test. Not very practical considering the only time I take off my watch is to charge it and if I’m running over my watch while my wrist is attached to it I have much bigger problems than a watch busting. The Apple Watch only got a couple scuffs, but you marked it off when the Samsung had about the same damage. Did I miss something?

My garmin epix 2 has been banged against walls and doors and not a mark. I was going to buy the AWU 2 but when I tried it in the flesh I binned the whole idea.

I got the Epix gen 2 pro, and love it, I got the AWU 1 too, and its a great work watch since its very durable and you don't need to have your phone with you. MY favorite is still the Garmin though.

personal preference. Apple devices, if you can keep it in pristine condition by the time you get the next phone or watch for a trade in, you are getting the next phone or watch up to 70% off.

I don't think so, I had my Iwatch SE I never used, maybe few days, but after few months, my Iwatch was like a NEW brand, fo real, then I went to Apple Store to trade in, they told they can give ZERO € dollars nothing, not even 10 bucks, I rather give away to my brother or friend. @@EadricRicmund

I destroyed my Pixel Watch 1 in a short amount of time even with a case and screen protector. Hopefully the 2 I got with my phone will hold up as well as it did in this video.

Things only scratch if you do it accidentally. apple wouldn't repair or exchange my ultra 2 even though I had apple care, I some how chipped the screen, no idea how it got there. I took it home and tried on purpose to damage it more and it took me absolutely ages to even put a on scratch it 😂
