@@simonpeter9617 Yes, for the first month they did offer that, but might stop from time to time, depending on which promotions they run. But in case you refer someone with you code, your friends or family you will get additional 30 days with 1% cashback on all valid transactions, which include most👌

Hi there, sad to hear that, never happened to me, but I also stopped using Curve a while back, so I hope that was only a one off for you, sometimes they do have maintenance on their networks which is normal, but usually you would get an app notice in advance. Cheers

Literally 0 point in the free version of curve now, especially as you can have unlimited cards in Apple Wallet/Google/Samsung. Many banks now also have 0% fees when spending abroad, so that is also pointless. If you want cashback then get a cashback card, where you can use everywhere, unlike select retailors on Curve. Hi Niall, thanks a lot. I think the free one is still amazing to get started, but yes, if you don't get referrals and not 1% on everything then it does become limited, but I guess always depends on individual requirements. Bu due to frequent travelling, I will definitely upgrade in due course👍

@@SmartMoneywithKai In the UK, you can get a Chase current account which has 0% fees, and 1% cashback - which I've been using since it released here in September. I would deffo sign up if you get the chance

Hi mate and thanks a lot. 99% of the time I pay with my Curve Card and Nexo card together to maximise the cashback rewards. Then I repay my Nexo balance weekly to keep it low and not trigger automatic transfer of my BTC from saving to credit line wallet, this way I maximise my staking rewards. Cheers.

Hmmm I am confused I am going abroad in eight weeks I have not been for five years, I got curve a a couple of years ago mine is free but the card is black ? do I need a travel card or can I use the black curve card or ordinary uk bank cards to withdraw cash from an atm over there also can I spend using curve on my phone, I am asking as I picked up a travel card from the post office this morning put £50 on it and they charged me £56.99 this seems a bit extortionate for just £50 unless it's to pay for the card.

Hi there, not sure exactly, but it seems maybe you had signed up for their black level card which does have an annual price to it, so maybe now that you have funds on the account they've taken the annual charge right away. Maybe you can reach out to their support to revert and downgrade to free if you prefer it. If you travel to a different currency country than your home country, upgrading might make sense as you get unlimited free FX fee conversion. Cheers

If I pay with the curve card, do you keep information of the transaction? For example, I use Revolut for daily purchases and I use their budgeting tool. Can it work with curve ? Or will the transaction info show that it was sent to Curve?

Hi Ioannis great question and the amazing thing is you will have analytics on both card so your Revolut will show the transaction as always in addition Curve does too which is handy as I also mostly use Revolut but sometimes few other cards so this way it’s easy to stay on top of total spend👌
