Amazing video. Bryce and Michael are both inspirations to my 14 year old grandson Deacon who shot a jug on 12.28.19 @ 1500 yards and myself. Great being taught by the two of you. That was some great shooting Michael and I aim to accomplish the same someday.

I use Norma MRP for my 6.5x55. Perfect speed for long barrels. Norma still makes it as far as I know. But I live in Sweden though. Love that powder, not that sensitive for temp changes either.

marshall wei - experience, research, the right shopping, and 5k.. and don’t be surprised when it doesn’t shoot 2k yards accurately lol he’s an experienced shooter with time behind his rifle. You’ll also need to hand load your bullets so you’ll need brass, bullets, powder and the reloading press. And the last thing you’ll need is a shit load of time, patience and effort lol good luck on your journey

Typically those that bag on it are either mocking what they don't understand and can't do or they are a great shooter but have forgotten how excited they were to shoot 1000 yards for the first time and that they haven't always been a badass. When they think about it they are less likely to mock the challenge. They just need to remember that everyone starts somewhere and it's no one's place to try and take that enthusiasm away from others.

Do you know what bottom metal he is using? A buddy of mine is trying to build one and is stuck on what bdm system to use so he can get the longest OAL in a magazine.
@LongRangeShootersofUtah6 жыл бұрын
I don’t. I can ask
@switch88126 жыл бұрын
There is no "bottom metal" in the chassis setup, it's incorporated into the chassis itself. However, the mags are from Alpha. They allow the longest OAL in the AICS pattern mags I've found. They don't have the spacer plate in the front of the mag, so they'll allow the longer lengths of 2.97" if I remember right

I dont want to sound offensive to the host but... you ask a lot about the rig... this was all on the shooter, this guy knows how to nail target at far distances.
@LongRangeShootersofUtah5 жыл бұрын
In my experience of making hundreds of these videos and reading thousands of comments across 15 million+ views is that people always want to know about the equipment used. I don't' ask as a disservice to the shooter, clearly, he knows what he's doing. We're actually best friends and he is my right hand man in running all of our events, thus why you'll see him in many of our videos.
@gzitterspiller5 жыл бұрын
@@LongRangeShootersofUtah Ohh so people think that the equipment makes the shooter, I thought we evolved as humans.
@LongRangeShootersofUtah5 жыл бұрын
@@gzitterspiller That's not even close to what I said but take it how you want. I was simply stating that I get a lot of requests to share all the details about the rifle, ammo, optics, etc so I make a point of doing so and I get a lot of compliments from people that they really like my content because I take the time to list off all those details. It has nothing to do with the role the equipment played in the equation, it's simply giving people what they ask for. I think it's common sense that both the shooter and the equipment play a role in the equation and that great shooter behind a mediocre rifle is better than a mediocre shooter behind the very best rifle. As I said, the shooter and I are great friends and I have the utmost respect for him and confidence in his abilities behind any rifle. I think you're seeing what you want to see.
