@@sharifsircar Mine are always clean but I do not wear them every day. In most cases you just need a cloth and water to keep them clean which takes 2-3 minutes. If the trainers have stubborn dirt, you can add some detergent too clean (2-3 min). For even more dirt on sneakers, if you have an old toothbrush use that with a detergent. For the laces I am not to sure but I imagine you you can use detergent and water but takes a bit longer to do. I always advice to keep sneakers and shoes clean if you can as that is the first thing people look at when they see you.

Agree with all of these, but not completely on the cowboy boots. I used to wear them quite frequently when I lived in Texas and Alabama. They are a big part of the culture there. They are certainly not a pick if you’re going out in the big city. I live in Florida now and I only wear them at country concerts. Also, a lot of men do not have the proper jeans to wear with them, which makes them look worse.

I have a pair of olive drab Crocs I wear exclusively when taking out the garbage in the warm summer months. Other than that, it's Allen Edmonds Oxfords, with full, half, or quarter broguing, in either chili or chestnut, and loafers with either a basket weave top or tassels, in medium brown leather. Unless I'm IN a gym, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing sneakers out in public either. -Men my age who wear sneakers (58) almost always look like they've just given up on life.

I agree with most of this list. But I think for some; it’s time and place. I’m a powerlifter so I wear slides in and out of the gym because squat shoes are uncomfortable. I live in the south, cowboy boots are acceptable to wear most places. And styled right, can make an outfit look really good. Context applies. And I have several pairs of Jordans. I think they’re ok to wear and not juvenile because those of us that grew up with Jordans are now in our 40s, so we’re not juveniles. It again depends on time and place.

I've grew up in western boots. I used to ride horses as a youngster. NOTE: I personally preferred packer boots for riding and all the groundwork that goes with it. Just like flip-flops have their place (the beach), so do slides and crocs. Generally speaking, Crocs should never be worn outside of the house with the following exceptions: for specifric medical conditions (such as neuropathy), you are a nurse, you are a cook/chef - Although there are better options for nurses and chefs than cxrocs. Slides also should never be worn past your property line or mailbox unless, you're at the gym or pool or some sort of locker room (where the slides are the more sanitary alternative to going around barefoot). I could excuse them if you're running to the grocery or convenience store **if you are sick**, like have the flu or something. Otherwise, 1000% agree here (not that my exceptions above are technically disagreements). Honestly, out of all of these, those Fred Durst shoes are THE WORST! lol. But not only is he wearing cargo shorts, he's wearing them on stage, so should we really expect anything more from him?

Your suggestion to wear Converse sneakers is wrong. They are the worst footwear that exists. They deform the foot in a terrible way, you can ask any orthopedic doctor, Chuck Taylors are the main cause of heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. Especially for young people, whose feet are still developing, they have to wear the right footwear to avoid problems at 40 and 50 years old. I invite you to investigate in this regard and propose better footwear.

I have white crocks for around the house and camo mocks for kayaking. I'm wearing all white Fila athletic shoes rn and I have maroon adidas running shoes. I also have hunting boots, work boots, and give absolutely 0 shits what people think about any of them. Chances are if you are looking at my feet you are missing my middle finger as it is several feet above my feet. Also I am 49. I was married twice, once for 5 years and once for 15. I wear T shirts with flags on the sleeves and athletic shorts or jeans. I have no desire to wear anything else. I guess I am unfashionable. That's ok.
