I was kind of interested in learning to play the trumpet but was on the fence until someone told me that girls don't play the trumpet. So I was like "fuck you!" and picked the trumpet. I basically started it because of spite and then I was the only female trumpet player in my school til college. Absolutely no regrets! It was the instrument for me. 100%. I love playing the trumpet so much. It's the best.🎺

It was about six years ago that I started playing the trumpet, and I have never stopped since because it was fun. But I haven't necessarily gambled before, and neither do I have more than one mouthpiece (that mouthpiece being a 3C)because my parents have never driven me to the music store to buy a second one. After my last marching band season, I gambled when played Bugler's Holiday, but I never actually performed the piece because of all the delays our show had (4.5 out of 7).

I see that you're a man of culture as well. I play lead in my community band but i'm using a 1.5C denis wick mp. It took a lot total rework and refinement of my basics like breathing, mp pressure, etc.. but the wholesome tone you get even on higher registers is more than worth the effort.
