I was thinking: "Electric toothbrush? Hairdryer? Wristwatch? Corkscrew?" Grenade-launchers, sure. A rocket does a better job of launching a grenade than someone blowing into the back of the pipe ever could. It's important to know the rocket's there, and not be blowing into the back of the pipe when that rocket motor lights up, of course.

What are you talking about? Chocobos do exist in the real world! They're called Ostriches... Save for the fact that they are not yellow, fluffy, or adorable, can kill you with one kick from their razor sharp talons, and are often raised for consumption by humans rather than for racing. But other than these minor differences, they are exactly the same. Real life Final Fantasy confirmed guys!

Two things Nu B. The first is, that the intention was never to try to devise the hardest, most punishing sport known to mankind. It was to assemble a joke, that would make people laugh, out of the parts provided. Secondly, considering the number of people injured playing football I'd say that I think it's quite rough enough on the body, pads or no pads and your dismissive tone in respect to those unfortunate individuals as "soft" considering their very real trauma is actually quite disrespectful. I'm also inclined to think that no matter where you're from the human body has the same limitations.

When I was younger I'd always imagine what the old XG series would have been like in reality. A death race involving sleek futuristic motorcycles traveling at or above the speed of sound with various weapons strapped to their sides. Imagine the sound of sonic booms and the reports of cannon, missile, and laser weapons echoing throughout the race track built in the Grand Canyon.

Not sure about assassination, but if the Assassins from Assassin’s Creed had a swimming competition, Altair looses 🤣 Desmond, Ezio, Haytham, Connor, Aveline, Edward, Shay, Arno, Evie & Jacob can swim. I haven’t got to play Origins yet, but I bet whoever you play in that could probably swim too. Apparently Altair can swim, but he’ll just blame a bug in the animus for the lack of swimming in the original game

Ellen once did a video about her technique in one of the old Assassin's Creed games that had multiplayer deathmatch mode. Apparently a big part of her strategy was to move like the NPCs in the crowd as much as possible. So yeah... I think I'd rather have Ellen on my team than the opposing team.

Chao Racing in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle? Cute racers and there's multiple sections to each race, making races themselves varied and interesting. The Unreal Tournament from "Unreal Tournament." Surprisingly sophisticated for mid-90s PC gaming, it was a full-fledged long-range combat league spread across numerous ruined worlds, and apparently attracted plenty of intergalactic sponsorships. I'm not too sure how many players cared about such minutiae, but that level of lore has got to be significant.

Blitz, from "Deathrow" is something I would devote an unhealthy amount of time to if it were real. Compelling team ambitions (especially the Convicts who are literally playing for their lives), interesting characters, fast-paced action, and optional enforcement of gratuitous violence penalties make for a sports experience I would be unable to stop obsessing over.
