built in Firewall also can be opened via advanced firewall, there you can do all kinds! not sure what you meant when you said you cant do alot with windows firewall! also you can use powershell commands and secure your system that way aswell!

i would not recommend backing up any important data to any cloud service or similar. just use a couple of external harddrives, cheap, easy to use and much safer.

Would mse and hitman pro make good security combo? it's been a while since I made a PC, used to use mse and malware bytes but mb is £35 per year now! don't really want to push this price to the end user. hitman is £40 for 3 years, however the end user is not tech savvy, I fear the pro alert interface will confuse the hell out of them. can't decide, budget is £15 a year for protection.

Thanks for another great very informative video Brian :) Nano antivirus is a free one i've spotted and it seems like its doing a great Job, its light, not bulky, with a good detection rate, no nasty pop ups, and with a nice and easy to use interface! give it a try ;)

just one more question i have 3 drive in my PC, C-(windows), E & F where my keep all impotent data, if in the case i have to format my PC. so talking about Ransomware when it hits my PC it will only lock the data in "C" drive where i have installed windows, E & F drive will not be effete by any kind for virus Trojan or Ransomware ?
