But "liberal / conservative" is often used to identify people who are not, but instead just those you disagree with. "Liberals" are often not so liberal as they are made out to be, and many "conservatives" are far more liberal than most people would like to admit. That's why these political terms are meaningless and divisive, just like "woke" "RINO" "Constitutionalist" etc. Too much variance. Who wants to go through this whole description each time they use those words to avoid misunderstandings? I don't. Just avoid them completely. Then we can spend time thinking about why we shouldn't apologize for things and diminish ourselves for perfectly ethical actions.
