Thank you for this very informative airbrush video. I learned many important things from this. I want to paint some realistic pictures and what you have presented will help me a lot. I think you are one of the best airbrush teachers. You cover the things that are most important. As an "old Croker" I don't have a bunch of time left so you helped a lot! Thanks again!

Hi I would like to seriously learn to become an accomplished airbrushing person. I am a 56 year old graphic designer. I live in Minneapolis MN. Do you offer lessons or video series? I purchased hundreds of Bob Ross videos and I now can paint oil landscapes like bob ross=Almost as good as himself! I would like to be an airbrush artist.

wonderful! Yes you can learn online in Marissa's LIVE ZOOM courses on www.foxystudio.com or in the AirbrushOnlineSchool.com. For beginning airbrush artists we recommend the monochromatic course here: airbrushonlineschool.com/p/monochromatic-studies

i read that u work dark to light instead of light to dark on portraits
@AirbrushOnlineSchool4 жыл бұрын
Super Sic-o well that’s true 50% 😅 Marissa works from dark to light if she’s using transparent paint. Otherwise if using opaque colors you are building from light to dark to avoid issues with the infamous “Blue Shift“, this happens when you spray with a light opaque color on top of a darker shade. Hope it helps 😉
@suspensefulness4 жыл бұрын
@@AirbrushOnlineSchool thank u...i think its easier for me to learn light to dark building slowly..i have to learn to build slowly...my worst flaw of all🤦🏾♂️🤣
@AirbrushOnlineSchool4 жыл бұрын
@@suspensefulness you are confusing 2 things, building up slow is the reason for working from dark to light. Dark means dark areas first, while saving or cleaning the lights. You mean working with thin layers of paint, gradually building up darker, and most likely you also save the light, thus doing the same. When working with pre-mixed opaque colors, you work from light to dark, meaning the lightest color first, as you can mix the lightest color due to the white an opaque color contains.
