In today's video I go over some gameplay mechanics that were present in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 that I would love to see make a return In Sparking Zero! What's some aspects from the previous Dragon Ball Games that you would like to see in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO?

I do really hope they add the in game fusions because the whole point was straight dragon ball logic. In a pinch you technically lose a character slot but by fusing into say gogeta you gained health bars and you were stronger vs just picking the fused character outright.

The main things I want to see are multiple transformations in battle (in Xenoverse you pretty much just chose 1 transformation, whereas Tenkaichi let you progress through all the stages of a character's transformations), as well as of course mid battle fusions and giant characters as you said. I'm a little worried about the existence of online play potentially making them focus too much on balance and having to remove or change a lot of the smaller things that made Tenkaichi so fun like the completely different power levels of characters and the multiple transformations etc.

I agree the multiple transformations was just such a special part of Budokai Tenkaichi like you said being limited to one like in Xv was alright but definitely not as fun😂 Also online play it’s all up in the air I’m honestly excited and scared to see what route they take because we’ve never had a reality where online in Budokai Tenkaichi was a thing so I hope they deliver well!

Xenoverse 2 does that though, before the god forms, the regular ssj forms depending on your ki bar allows you to transform from 1 to 3

They should at least allow attacks to pass through the barrier. Moves like Hellzone Grenade and Kamikaze Ghost will explode on the barrier in BT games. It'd be good if you could smash characters through the barrier into another map like the Budokai games.

I hope the keep the unbalanced natural of health but with the addition of a competitive mode that evens stats for those who want it because for me I want Gogeta having way more health than kid goku. I like the loose tier list.

I hope that the effects of Giant/Large Characters return in Tenkaichi. For an example striking LSSJ Broly or Super Trunks was almost like they had Armor making your strikes look weaker. But I definitely want to see Giant Characters return. Especially since it adds transformation of Janemba, all Ozzaru, Hirudegarn, Or even the new Aniraza or however you spell that guy in the tournament of power that was giant. I rather have access to all features then being handicapped to not having them. But im sure they are aware we want that. Especially since they demo'd old Tenkaichi in the first trailer before teasing the new Tenkaichi.

Also im glad you spoke on the moveset diffrences from base form to any transformation form. Thats what made this game awesome for me bacc in the day. Xenoverse never had that as part of their play style as transforming in Xenoverse was only just a buff no moveset difference.

I hope they get rid of indestructible environment pieces. Like you're charging up super attack but then a nanoinch of it clips the ruin of a building and it just vanishes.

I would kill for there to be "Secret" Fusions. Characters that cant be selected from the roster but are only acessable through in-game fusions with the right characters. Specifically, Id love to see these show up: Tiencha (Tien + Yamcha) Cellin (Cell + Krillin) Android 35 (Android 18 + Android 17) Kakaroly (Goku + Broly) Whirus (Beerus + Whis) Gokhan (Goku + Gohan) Vegetunks (Vegeta + Trunks) Cellza (Cell + Frieza) Buuza (Majin Buu + Frieza) Gohanks (Gohan + Trunks) Gokule (Goku + Hercule) Gokulo (Goku + Piccolo) Prillin (Piccolo + Krillin) Janembuu (Kid Buu + Janemba) Also, NEW giant characters would be dope like Agnilaza, Orange Piccolo, Cell Max, maybe even Bio Broly or Ghetti Star Cooler

Would I would give to see the return of Cellin, Gokule, Tiencha, Buuza, Buell, Buugeta, and Buuiencha. Those were awesome additions to Budokai 1 & 2 that barely saw the light of day outside those games. Sad Cellin was only playable in the gamemode he was in.

5:45 What if: Cooler came back with Frieza and King Cold🥶 Trunks fights and Kills Frieza, Cooler is stronger than expected and king cold double teams on trunks…Goku uses Instant transmission this time and now it’s 2v2 and you can tell what happens… What if: Future Gohan came back in time instead of Trunks cuz he’d be too young, Vegeta would train with either Gohan or piccolo or alone… because Vegeta doesn’t have trunks to save his ass against perfect cell, he dies….krillin would also die, future Gohan fights cell next but cell is too strong and gets annoyed no one is near his level…cell jrs are born torturing everyone, 16 would’ve died too so maybe a brave piccolo trying to sneak attack cell and then cell killing him instead Would trigger future Gohan since he doesn’t want to relive his time again andddd yea…same result cell gets clapped gets fat and Goku sacrifices

I really wish they could make something similar to Tenkaichi Tag Team and make you able to have multiple people fighting at the same time while being able to do team combos with your partner to deal extra damage against the opponent. Sparking Zero has a lot o potential and i hope they take all the cool old mechanics from old Tenkaichi games!

I want to see BEAM STRUGGLES why does no one talk about it? That's such an iconic mechanic for DB I feel people forgot. No not beam clashes like in xenoverse- actual beam struggles where you button mash to push your beam against the opponent's! They had this in Tenkaichi 3 and the others. You could even struggle a beam vs a blast which I thought was cool.

@@SageArtzX Really? I didnt notice it, are you talking about when Goku and Vegeta did their kamehameha vs Galic gun scene? In the first announcement trailer it shows them shooting their beams but doesn't show the struggle, (unless I'm missing something) so I just hope they don't make it like xenoverse where the beams just clash and disperse you know. I've heard rumors also that split screen may not make it because of marketing purposes so more people buy the game instead of playing on one console, but I think you're right that beam struggles will remain since its a major part! Regardless though I will be grateful for the game however it is! thanks for your comment and video :)

If we don't get a Goku Black from.the Manga that can actually turn super saiyan and super saiyan 2, not just Rosè, I'm going to be dissappinted ngl.
