Thanks for talking about this. I think it is so important to make people understand the importance of buying used. Not only because it is cheaper but because it is better for the planet. There is nothing wrong with buying something new if we really need it but if we can avoid it, we should. I love how you mention that you bought used clothes for a wedding. When I see how much people spend on suits, shoes, bags, etc. I am shocked. I had a wedding in August and bought a used dress for 3 EUR. I ended up not wearing it because I did not manage to take it to the seamstress to get something fixed. I had a dress I had bought 20 years ago that still fit me and just wore that. Now that the other one is fixed I will wear it whenever I go to a wedding :D

Interesting and enjoyable, as always.☮ I appreciate getting peeks at your cat. Have you ever done a video about minimalism and house cleaning as a cat owner? My cat of 17+ years died in May. (It's been a journey.) A thing I've noticed is how much cleaner everything is, and I certainly don't mind that. When I think about getting a cat in the future, the first thing I think about is fur and litter and litter dust, and you get the idea. I'd love to learn about your cleaning practices regarding the cat and in general. (Wow, didn't intend to write an essay, but here I am.)

If you don't plan to spend a lot on a suit, it's better to buy a high-quality, older suit from a thrift store that roughly fits and then have it tailored. New suits greatly improve in quality as the price increases but you still need to get them tailored.
@shinichihiroshi53282 ай бұрын
1) Sail the high seas 2) Personally don't need a camera but yeah. Agreed. 3) Secondhand cars are the go-to nowadays. They're immensely expensive new. 4) Cheaper suits are good too if they're tailored well. Prefer bit more expensive due to work. 5) Sail the high seas and then purchase secondhand or ones on sale if you really like the book and author. 6) Don't necessarily need items for exercise but secondhand is pretty decent. 7) Electronics really depends but usually just wait for sales. -> Honestly for games, software, books, movies, tv shows and anime. Just sail the high seas🏴☠.

I’m not trying to insult you, I know everyone doesn’t care, but there is nothing more evil than pirating a book, especially when it’s a self published book. A single person spent a long time working on that, not some conglomerate. They need to be paid.
@shinichihiroshi53282 ай бұрын
@@jerryppih So we can discuss this for infinite time. But once someone told me ‘’money is the boss’’, nowadays books are quite expensive (at least in my country) €25-30 each book. So when you reading a trilogy, you will spend 30*3=€90. I rather spent the €90 on important things such as bills when I know, I can get the book for ‘’free’’. I disagree that’s it is evil because, I stated if the book is on sale, I recommend to purchase it. At the end of the day, everyone thinks about themselves and what is better for themselves. In this case, sailing the high seas is better financially. Don’t worry though, you are not insulting me. You’re just stating your opinion.

@kriativs73742 ай бұрын
@@shinichihiroshi5328 I get your point. Here in Brazil where I live people often go to the piracy way because is the only way to afford those media. On the other hand, if you have money and know the fact other people worked hard to produce that media, you probably will agree that others work is not worth less than yours. That being said. I pirate 30% of the books I read (that ar enot available in my country), 20% I get from libraries and 50% I actually buy (most of the time secondhand). As for games and software I buy all I consume that is available to me in a price I can afford. I wouldn't pay thefull price of a release game because it's basically 15% of what I earn monthly in a single game, but I buy games on sales on steam 70-80% off instead. And I pirate retrogames. Each own set theur own rules about it, I know pwoplw have bills to pay, but at that same time I see people splurging on drugs and alcohol instead of consuming media in the old fashioned way. It’s fascinating that I’m the opposite on video games and books. I’ve never had a problem finding the book I want at the library. Our library system is county wide so if my local library doesn’t have a copy of what I want, they send a request to the library who does have it and they send it their way within a couple days. I rarely feel the need to buy a book because I don’t revisit them hardly ever. Video games on the other hand, especially multiplayer ones I like to have on hand to revisit. You never know when the boys want to dust off that copy of Mario Party.
