I have a different kind of business, it was a cake business and I got really good really fast. My audience loved my cakes. I kept raising my prices because that’s what everyone on IG and KZbin said I should do but I wasn’t thinking about my customer profile so eventually people stopped buying. Instead of adjusting my prices, I got overwhelmed by everything in the business and just stopped. The biggest lesson I want to share is sometimes you have to pivot and adjust, but most importantly keep your customer profile priority at all times.

It’s okay, it happens to the best of us. just lower your prices again and the sales will come back. That’s economics 101. once any business raises prices, they lose volume.

If I could start over with my business I would 1. Write down my long term vision, I find it easier now to reverse engineer . This keep me focused & not get distracted 2. Spend more time building the back end of the business, like email marketing, payroll, etc. 3. Never stop learning. I use to be a sponge with information, but once I hit my “big goal”, I got laxed & pulled away. 4. See my content campaign all the way through until the end. Momentum is a game changer! Don’t lose it!

My answer to your question at the end, and I DON'T own a business: I would have gotten a degree in business administration and then I would have started a business. I would have looked into getting patents and copyrights for the company to own assets. I would have looked to see if there was any grants for small business owners, not necessarily from government, but keeping government in mind. Maybe I would have had the business buy one rental property, maybe I would have hired someone to write a book, or something along those lines, to try to guarantee the company income, even if and when it's making zero in sales from the reason it would have existed. I would have also taken computer classes, to learn more about that side of it. Like IT, web development, and so forth. To help keep the company in operation, as well as being able to branch out. That's what I would have done.
